I agree they have made a good effort at commercialising it but I still think the whole theme tune thing is a bit cheesy. The short neon streaks intro from 2009-2017 was extremely good at hyping up the race without a theme tune droning on in the bg while the grid was explained. The track ambience was enough. Just my opinion it think it’s over the top.

I’ll always remember this race not for the race itself, not for the intro, but for the pre race buildup by Sir Captain Tom Moore, brought a tear to my eye watching it and was such a fantastic way to honour the 70th anniversary GP and made it feel like a major milestone in the history of the sport
