The 2020 Chinese Grand Prix is scheduled to be held at Shanghai on 19 April 2020 but FIA has decided to postpone (or cancel) this race, also because of the world's increasing worries on coronavirus! As a Formula 1 fanatic, I'm glad because I want to tell you one thing: The Chinese Grand Prix of last year was also Formula 1's 1000th race! We expect this race to be very exciting but when 5 red lights are turned off (marking the start of a Formula 1 race; we use the standing start format), it turned out to be a very boring race instead! Don't get me wrong; I'm glad that my favorite racer Lewis Hamilton won the race but the excitement is just nowhere to be seen! With this cancellation, I hope the organizers of the Chinese Grand Prix can learn from last year's boring 1000th race and they must improve, so all Formula 1 fans (including myself) could smile again next year! 😔
Talking about next year, I'm really hyped for the new regulations and rule changes in 2021! This means, the racecars will look beautiful like never before and there will be more exciting on-track rivalries between experienced racers (Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel) and fresh racers (Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc) next year! 😍
