💯 agree , not even close. His tone he uses for that solo during the Lyceum video is King! I rate them.....Piper , Roberts, Blair, Holmes. Holmes is and always will be my hero but he was somewhat of a hack when it came to his lead playing especially when it came to replicating someone else's work.
Absolutely underrated and underappreciated in WASP history. He went on to Five Finger Death Punch before they became a laughing stock. I wish he was still putting out music.
The Best guitarist W A S P. ever has was Piper! Chris is good, but Piper is a true beast. He left W.A.S P becase of Pay issues and he also didnt want to stand in the shaddows of Blackie or Chris.
@Leon.16 Yes but he won't be working with Blackie. In 92, Blackie brought back Tony Richard's, but Richard's seen through what was up after the session and declined to continue. Good terms don't mean a thing.
@@Malte-Micha It doesn't and Blackie said that he's very happy with the lineup they have currently. My point was that there is much more bad blood between Blackie and Chris than Randy and Blackie.
I prefer Roberts here. That sounds like nitty-gritty rock 'n' roll with intricacies thrown in. (Blair usually blows me away, but it's a little too clean and professional on this one.) Piper was really great, and Holmes is from the era when I was a huge fan. I like them all!!
Randy Piper all day, every day. Its not even close

Piper all the way
Piper then Blair - But Piper and Holmes are always the lineup I remember the most. Saw them backup KISS a few times mid 80s and I was hooked.
Doug Blair knocks it outta the park
....one great guitarist!¡
Wtf? 😂 It's all over the place, rushed, bum notes and out of tune!!! 😂😂😂😅
One and only Doug Blair!
The best guitarist in the World ❤

There's a reason the hundreds of lessons for the solo out there are still for the original one.
Metal Guitar Magic. Sublime fretwork. Outstanding composition.
All of them are great because the song is great because WASP IS GREAT
Not shown, but no contest is Chris' solo on Live in the Raw, same as recording on the Acoustic version ❤
Chris Holmes no contest 🤘🔥🎸
Randy all day! He's among guys such as Malcolm and Angus Young, Dave Murray, James Hetfield and many others who inspired me to start playing guitar!
All are great…but remember, the others are working off of what Randy created! So my vote is Piper.
Blair all day...

He's in surprisingly good terms with Blackie. I saw on Reddit that he actually visited a WASP show in Seattle about a month ago!

Chris/Piper 💤❤🔥
Blair best ❤
First performance is phenomenal. And both Piper and Holmes were there
Around 2.00 also very good

I think Roberts is really underrated and underappreciated in WASP history.
Piper.
Interesting none of them include the pinch harmonics that give the solo that something else.
CHRIS HOLMES !!!!! DOUG IS ALSO AMAZING 😍
Holmes 100% hands down!!!
Doug Blair!!!
Piper el mas melodico y el mejor solo, les da mil vueltas a los dos, aunque son muy buenos. Lo siento por los fanboys.
Randy Piper !
somptueux❤
MONSTER 💥😈🤫
I've gotta give it to the original, Piper. Then Roberts. Blair is probably the most technical. Holmes is great too.
Piper
Randy piper top!!
Ninguém toca esse solo como o Randy Piper, nem o Doug Blair...
randy piper toca mucho mejor el solo de este tema . Esa es mi opinión ¡¡¡¡ Piper !!!! . Buen video
well, that's understandable, the author's solo
@@andrewzhilin9059 That has nothing to do
Cool how you put that together
Randy piper!
After Randy Piper, Darrell Roberts was the best.
No hay color
Piper
sounded like Roberts was playing a different solo
Просто трахнул гитару на 4:04 🤤❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
No contest, Randy Piper wins this argument.
And Roberts is just plain sloppy.
Piper is just a better player and his solo is so memorable. Holmes live pisses about too much.
I prefer...
Mr. Christopher "Beast" Holmes 🎸🫡⚡🔥😎
Holmes heavier, meaner, better
