My friend has been to nearly every big event NIN has done from Woodstock to 5 of the Wave Goodbye shows and a lot more, and he tells a story how they soundchecked it once and never again until this performance. Its been one of my favorites since it came out.
It's like when they played The Perfect Drug live for first time ever at Red Rocks. You could feel the audible collective gasp. Sunspots is even better IMHO
May well be my favorite NIN song. The last forty five seconds is so intense it's almost cathartic. And then to come back to the bassline at the end---freaking perfection.
Yeah he has his own band called The New Regime where he is the lead singer. Illan is NIN's live secret weapon, according to the band he can play everyones instruments better than they can.
On the way to the show I said to my friends that I was hoping to hear Sunspots! Thank you Trent. Superb video BTW. I'm standing quite close to you and only recorded about 30 seconds, so thank you for sharing this. Bloody epic!!
I wish I'd been there to see this! Sunspots is one of my favorite NIN songs, and to see everyone singing along, and then clapping along to the bridge is so epic!
Glad someone heard them. I was absolutely stunned when he came in with the higher vocal part on the last chorus. As much as I loved Josh Freese on drums in NIN, Ilan Rubin is so multi-talented that it's a different level. What an incredible group of musicians
Happy 1 Year Anniversary to the greatest night of my fucking life. Holy grail of seeing NIN live finally and at Brixton which I'd never been to and may not be around anymore sadly. During a tube strike too. This meant everything to me and I'm so grateful i was able to get tickets and go.
Recently I went to a RHCP show and a woman close to me was totally out of the vibe. She was just visibly uncomfortable standing while her couple was jumping like crazy,It was funny. Sorry you had a bad experience, anyway I encourage you trying to listen to this music avoiding the perspective of the genre and just trying to enjoy all the weird things in the production; NIN has a double instrumental album named "Ghost I-IV", it's interesting.
I still can't fully process that they finally played it live after so many years. I never really thought that they would ever play it live!
well after they play the perfect drug,i can expect even "kinda i want to" haha
@Lleo Oneiro Tell me
Breaks my heart first tour I missed
@@zeitok8 i would LOVE to hear Kinda I Want To

WITH TEETH is a epic album.
And the most emotional one
I still can remember 2005 and falling like a hammer in my head, incredible album !!!!
The vacuum synth is my absolute favorite sound
He's a fucking genius of sound
This song is underrated. Awesome how much the crowd is singing along. I demand it be played more often!
I nearly fell over when it started. What a time to be alive.
Me too I was there
So jealous 😭
Sometimes I forget I’m alive

A crime this wasn't played on the original tour
Me and my mates almost died when this started playing
Fucking fantastic audio quality. Cannot believe this is the first time it's been played considering just how GOOD it sounds live!
@@dummer66 man.... That is such a good song but I totally get why trent doesn't play it live
@@sowhazupguy It would be for the hardest of hard core fan.
@@sowhazupguy Why? No offence, just curious
@@diegogonzalezrodriguez6607 it's a song he wrote about his grandmother after she passed away.
@@sowhazupguy Omg, didn't know. Anyway, anything he writes seems to be related to an absolute feeling of devastation 😝
Kudos to NIN for digging deep this tour. Live debuts, bringing back songs that haven’t been played in years and absolutely crushing it.

One of their Best songs
My favorite song
Ilan is doing the backing vocals? cool, great voice!

Crowds really into these shows…
the fact that Jimmy Fukcin Page was at this show makes it even greater
Omg was he? That’s amazing. I didn’t know that. I always wondered what he would think of bands like NIN. Did he comment it?
With teeth is criminally underrated
Incredible. Sounds so good live and the crowd is totally vibing.
Loved being in the crowd of this historical event.

One of the best moments of my life experiencing this live
Literally my favourite NIN song - I wish I'd been able to follow this whole tour tbh!
Always loved this track
one of my favorites oh my god!! praying and begging they come to mainland europe and play it live there.

Ilan Rubin's backing vocals 🙌🏼🤘🏼🥁🎤

holy fuck. dream come true
Omg i wanted this to happen and it finally did
SUCH A BANGER
Brixton....never thought I'd hear Sunspots live. Had already overdosed on NIN Cornwall three days earlier. I am a greedy bastard 🤣🤣🤣
I hope they finally play Underneath It All after The Big Come Down
So fucking amazing 🔥 they have play It more often! It IS a great song 🖤

Illan sounds so good on this track!
This is extraordinary
THEY DID THE FUCKING SONG YEEE!
I’m so so happy that this is the reality we’re in. At least for this. The final frontiers of NIN are here
So grateful that I was there to see this. Thank you so much for the upload!
Thanks for the upload.
oh my fucking god
I wish he did the last part with the heavy vocals instead of just monotone.
orgasmic might be their best song
i had a ticket and couldnt go...
Trent's hearing must be gone. He left the vacuum on again.
FINALLLYYYYYY WTF
What a shame!! I started to cry 😂😂😂😢
Christ people. Put your fucking phones away and enjoy this awesome song!!!
WHAT
Can't believe I had to suffer through this audio bile, the price of having a friend who likes metal.
