Inflames the body First: Milk is breast inflammation With a determined time to be produced by the mother's body Unfortunately, we are the only people who drink milk as adults. Second: After the age of 8 we are unable to break down milk protein so that it can be absorbed effectively by the intestine
Thanks for the feedback - we talk more about the facts surrounding milk consumption in the Defeat Diabetes Low Carb Program. Here's an excerpt you might find helpful: "There are two different forms of the beta-casein protein in milk - A1 and A2. A lot of people can digest the A2 form but not the A1 form, which they find inflammatory. If you are experiencing inflammation symptoms such as regular involuntary sneezing, runny or itchy nose and eyes, skin blotches, rashes and/or eczema-like symptoms, then look closely at your dairy intake. If you suspect you’re intolerant to A1, speak to your doctor and consider drastically reducing your milk intake, changing to A2-only milk, or dropping it from your diet - at least on a trial basis. There are plenty of milk and cream substitutes out there such as soya milk and coconut cream which you can use in both tea and coffee respectively."

I've heard that people who regularly donate blood live longer on average than people who don't. I know I can't give blood unless my iron is high enough. I have to wonder if that's why we live longer. Dear friend, maybe you can not tolerate beef because of histamine? Or maybe it's pork or chicken that is causing problems. Try different meat for several days. Maybe you use spices? Try eliminating everything except actually meat. Maybe you need to eat just fresh/frozen meat, salt and water. No spices, maybe even ground meat instead of fried meat. I have Crohn's and IBS/IBE so carnivore is challenging to me. I feel better since I eat ground meat instead of fried meat. I can't eat cured meat, not cooked (histamine issues). My stomach is so destroyed. So it's a challenge.

Is weight-gain not in a way an adaptive response, in an effort to ensure survival in the midst of the stress of chronic inflammation? What about individuals who are experiencing weight loss/inability to gain weight; who are constantly tired, with mental problems, etc. Interesting to learn about 'Nutritional Immunity'; how iron could be purposely removed into storage... With chronic inflammation induced through gluten, the stomach lining can also be damaged, so that not enough stomach acid is produced to liberate nutrients (including iron) from food. Additionally, occult bleeding could be occurring within the digestive tract, with iron deficiency resulting also because of blood-loss (as is explained by Peter Osborne).
@@defeatdiabetes IMO far too much attention is being paid to rectify Obesity, which is but one of the down-stream symptoms (similar to increased Cholesterol production and higher BP, which both are also protective adaptations towards ensuring survival); this while 60% of those with normal weight are not metabolically healthy either (as is for example pointed out by Prof. Robert Lustig). Insulin and Inflammation are both important factors to keep in mind, but something not receiving enough attention, is Insufficiencies. When it comes to the inability to lose weight, it could for example simply be due to an insufficient Vit D level, with resulting 'Winter Syndrome'; as is explained by MD Judson Somerville in 'The Optimum Dose': The stressed-out body is purposefully holding on to fat; this as protective measure against possible future food scarcity.
