My father had chronic depression, plus he was overweight from my birth, not obese but overweight, he had I think both my parents had insulin problems from when we were born in the 80’s. My mom has been moody all my life . Flying off the handle when we were kids. I am 39 now older brother almost 41, younger brother almost 37. My father didn’t live to see me turn 20 , 2005 he died brain cancer uncontrolled diabetes for years , bleeding feet. Metabolic syndrome, now my mom almost lost her April 2022 diabetes diagnosis, now heart disease. Heart disease runs in my mom’s family. My mom almost got gestational diabetes with my younger brother in 1988 . My mom’s biological mother her mom got gestational diabetes with her last child and never 👎 recovered. My brothers have chronic anger 😡 problems. …..my parents passed on crappy genes. Just discovered I think from pure stress I am insulin resistant. Tweaking my diet a tad …..low carb already . No grains . Just got her book from our library. Can’t wait till I can afford to buy it personally. SUGAR has destroyed my family and ultra processed foods too. Generations destroyed from bad food choices.
