Disappointing that you didn’t show changing out the headlight.

What I'm interested in is how these perform from the drivers seat. Is the pattern similar to OEM, and hi/low pattern appropriate for driving and not blinding other drivers?

Can you put links to the bulbs? I typed the description into eBay but I'm not sure if it's the same ones. Please?

Jose Vera don't buy the ones he did. They're trash. If you're looking for LED bulbs for headlights, fog lights, interior or reverse... Search Amazon for JDM Astar. I swear by these things, especially the reverse lights and the headlights.
Unfortunately on this car the high and low is only one bulb. The JDM put out 4000 lumens per bulb, that's about 4x brighter than a halogen. But for this car, with the bulb setup, you get 2500 for low and 4000 for high. But the reverse lights are about as bright as regular headlights! And pure white light, none of this cheap blue tint

Jose Vera another benefit to the JDM over over bulbs is they're adjustable. When using reflector style lights like this, being able to adjust angle is extremely important so you get the light where it needs to be. Otherwise you end up with streaks of light (interference patterns, if you know what those are) and it's not very pretty.

Are the GXP fog light housings somehow different than other models? Looking at replacements and some look just like mine but says (not for GXP).

Pontiacs were stylish, reliable vehicles. GM wrecked a good product. Never will own a GM product again.

Is the car worth buying I’ve considered it.

If you like to carry a lot of of stuff with you like I do it's not practical, but a GXP is a blast to drive. Even though you can't take it to the grocery store every time you start it you'll smile

My '08 Sol GXP barks 3rd gear with the TC on, 100% stock. It's a car for driving, not carrying stuff as mentioned. Cars today are a big blend of "drive your house around". The Sol is a throwback to "shut up and drive".

FYI, I am 6'2" 210 lbs and I don't have any trouble fitting in or driving mine. Have had it on a couple of long trips (5hrs+) and was comfortable. It is a sports car not a luxury car so keep that in mind.

I'm 6'5", I'm comfortable driving it, just wish it had a telescoping steering column for more leg room. Gonna get thinner padded seats to accommodate that

Not a fan of the "blue" tint, no matter how subtle.

    • @JuliansRandomProject

I tend to go as 'white' as possible without hitting 'blue' hues. For the house it's all warm white LEDs, for the road I like the cool-white, not sure why.

Me as well, the blueish light is hard on the eye for both driver and the people having to look at it. 6000K is rough on the eyes.
