Stavros, you are single-handedly reviving the lost skills of wooden plane making and I love it. I have read a lot of books and watched some old videos but you demystify the process. Thank you.

Hello! Some of you noticed on my instagram that i'm preparing few pairs of sliding dovetail hand planes. It would be the same kind of planes as i made in my first video of my channel, but this time they will be normal size. The planes will work in pairs - left plane and right plane for booth directions of cutting.
If you dont know how i made the boxing on this plane blanks just watch my previous video.
As usually i decided to make video of bulding process, but as one part it would be to long so i decided to make it in 3 parts.
Every step is decsribed on the timeline so you can easly read what i'm doing in any moment of the video.
I hope you will like it!
    Regards!

It depends what kind of steel CNC can cut (it is calibrated for each steel to get good results). First ask what kind of steel they can cut, later find it. Better option can be watercutting but it would be more expensive. Almost every knifemaking shop have few kinds of steel wich can be used for plane blade. Cheers!
