I have used a rebate plane in the dim distant past but never used a fillister plane with an additional blade to cut the fibres when cutting across the grain. Beautiful workmanship as always.
Its a great relief to see someone who strikes a balance between using hand tools and power tools. It shows to all of us that there is nothing wrong with using these tools to further push out craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
Hi! Unbelievable! I like so much your Chanel...My inspiration! I did my first plane, after I saw any times your videos. Congratulations. Tks for sharing! Im from Brazil.
Nice looking and very functional. I would image for a left handed person we could just reverse the stops. love your wood choices too, Thanks for sharing all your work!
Start to finish, Stunning build with fabulous results. The cross grain cut was superb and no tear out. @¿@ Best of Form, Fit and Function! Thank you for sharing your passion and skills!
You do such beautiful and functional work that I really wish you would spend more time on your handles. I don't know if you have any really old tools to compare. A few months ago I got a Stanley #4 type 13 from between 1910 and 1918, with an unbroken handle, and also a few old Spear & Jackson backsaws that are also at least 100 years old, and after putting those handles in my hand, I realized that's simply the way to go.

Wow what a beautiful piece of art. It's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing. You do amazing work. Maybe some day I will be fortune enough to own such an incredible tool. Your work inspires me to do better.
Beautiful as always! I really enjoy watching you work your magic. I may have a tip for you. Use thin ca glue In the screw holes to strengthen the threads in the wood.
Beautiful. My first first though was it is too tall and heavy but seeing it in use, it looks as if the size might make it easier to keep the plane registered vertically and the weight really pushes through hard grain.
Интересно Почему мастер Ручки инструментов закругляет очень мало только грани слегка ,? Я думаю что закругление должно зависит от толщины ручки и поделить пополам это и будет как радиус
I need someone to make me less ignorant... What is the common purpose for that type of groove in the wood? What is the reason for this type of plane? Thanks if you can fill me in!
Нынче возможностей больше чем раньше Я жил в районе где население 80 тысяч и так как я был любителем столярки побывал во всех мастерских и ленточнопильного станка ни у кого не видел
