Lyrics:
Today is the last day that I'm using words
They've gone out, lost their meaning
Don't function anymore
Let's
Let's
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious, honey
Today is the last day that I'm using words
They've gone out, lost their meaning
Don't function anymore
Traveling
Leaving logic and reason
Traveling
To the arms of unconsciousness
Traveling
Leaving logic and reason
Traveling
To the arms of unconsciousness
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
Words are useless, especially sentences
They don't stand for anything
How could they explain how I feel
Traveling
I'm traveling
Leaving logic and reason
Traveling
I'm gonna relax
In the arms of unconsciousness
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
And inside we're all still wet
Longing and yearning
How can I explain how I feel?
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
Traveling, traveling
Traveling, traveling
Traveling, traveling
In the arms of unconsciousness
And all that you've ever learned
Try to forget
I'll never explain again

Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Ray Of Light and Music are her masterpieces. One after one. Genius.

Madonna is a genius til' Confessions on the dancefloor

Sorry but I can't discount her first two albums either. Let's face it MDNA kind ruined the flow.
Plus Madame X, Confessions and Like a Prayer

Thats cos Bjork wrote it

@Sebastiano 5%? that's not even true lmao. Bjork wrote and produced this whole song with Nelle Hopper originallly for her debut album. Song is called Violently Happy. Madonna just sampled it years later. That's not 5% at all.

Gustavo Cano Ew Bjork>Madonna
Gustavo Cano Video has nothing to do with Björk ¬¬
It was completely inspired by all the female surrealist painters like Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo. There’s a little bit of Frida Kahlo in there, too.
Alex J Obviously the visuals are also inspired by the song itself, which was written by Bjork, Nellee Hooper, and Marius Devries. The director is the greatest creative force in the video, however, not Madonna, who is only singing and acting here, and he is clearly drawing from the world of surrealist painting (which is all about the unconscious mind and its imagery).
0MirrorGirl Wrong. Madonna is on record as being the principal ideas person for this. She owned and may still possibly own several of these women surrealist painters' works from which she drew inspiration. She talks at length about which particular paintings fired up her imagination. Give the lady her props. Probably asking too much...

And I never cease to wonder how you can be the "queen of music" WITHOUT VOICE at all? She is probably the only American singer without a voice.
Marilyn Monroe sings better and more interestingly, although he was not read "for the singer".

These new girls simply cannot compare to Madonna. Nobody ever will.
Nor can the men.
I mean,Madonna is a legend,but that's an overly broad and lazy statement.
This piece is genius, never gets old
In the mid 90's Madonna was doing good trip hop and she was getting into an alternative way... she should try this once again, she fits it very well
Finally someone who thinks like me. the 90's madonna was the best
Rey Benkos I totally agree. She Björk and Madonna would be an amazing collaboration especially on her new album Utopia conceptually reminds me of Ray of Light with the themes of spirituality. I love it.
Madonna doing a trip hop, postmodern, avant garde electronia, ambient, idm, psychedelic, psytrance, pbrnb, type album would be cool.
Ray of Light was like Madonna's Dark Side of The Moon, or Kid A, or Sargeant Peppers.
Her doing a collaboration with current artists who are in experimental music would be great: Thom Yorke - Everything In its Right Place, James Blake - Wilhelm Scream, Kanye, FKA - Twigs, Aphex Twin - Ambient album, Arca, Anthony Keidis, Frank Ocean, Massive Attack - Teardrop, Portishead - Glory Box, Kaskade & Deadmau5, she could even do a Kabbalistic inspired tune with Matisyahu or a Hindu tune with Anushka Shankar in Sitar. It would be so cool to see Madonna have some drone music or Post-Rock collaboration with Sígur Ros, maybe a collaboration with Cinematic Orchestra, or even Electrosynthpop AltRnb with Little Dragon, or an ambient rap with Drake.
Maybe she could even do Sufi Music and collaborate with Scott Matthews, or do something so unusual. There are so many intriguing musical journeys she could take!
And modern day singers like Beyonce who have become more experimental, and Sia who was in Zero 7 and performed ambient chillout music like Destiny.
Waiting for the next creative experiment from Madonna!
Rey Benkos I just read an interview from Pitchfork with Madonna, and she said she's really inspired by music outside the pop realm like James Blake.
'To be honest, pop music isn’t exciting me too much right now. I mean, do you consider James Blake pop music? I love his music, some of his songs just kill me. He’s a great songwriter. It’s the kind of thing that makes me jealous, like, “Oh! I wish I’d made that"
This is promising, Madonna may be entering a new phase of musical experimentation!
Then "Music" came
She would never go backwards. She only moves in one direction. Wherever she hasn't been unless it involves a current trend. However I would love to see her work with Bjork again.
One of the most expensive videos ever made. A true icon and visual master go madonna. This song was a hint of the electronic sound that was to come for Ray of Light and bjork cowrote it cool beans

this somehow doesn't make sense!? and Björk wrote the song for the producer and he gave it madonna & then madonna also wanted to take björks aestetic!
Actually for this song madonna asked Marius de Vrie to write/produce a song and Marius de Vrie asked his friend Bjork to co-write with him. What she did! Actually she didn't meet madonna at the time and did it more as a favor to Marius de Vrie than Madonna.
Madonna's work with Massive Attack is great as well.
Bjork did the song as a favor to the guy who worked with Madonna she didn't actually do it with Madonna or for her. She says I'm a m interview that she's not a fan of her or her music.
But I still love her and Madonna equally they are both beautiful artists
This is Madonna's best song. Ever.
She has many "best song" ever
Bjork's*
Lol. She is cursed
@@villamedj3533 one more noname who says Bjork or her art is overrated? Not surprised at all. You can't even read comments properly btw, cuz it was not the point of mine. Check it twice maybe it will help you dummy 😂😂😂
One of my all time favorites
Has anyone visited the MOMA because of this avant-garde video?
Madonna is at her best when she's doing high artistry, like this lovely track.
she didn't write this one, Bjork did
@@dobredobre5054Learn. 😉 Colaborated is the difference.
@@dobredobre5054bjork co wrote it, and high artistry can include the production and visuals
One of her best songs and videos EVER!
I love you so much M!!! 💚🤍❤
The restoration of this video in HD is IMMACULATE!!!! Bravo! And long live QUEEN MADONNA ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
This is a gorgeous music video & song my favorite so 90's mall music nostalgia I swear !
Madonna is a perfectionist. Madonna has sold over 300 million albums worldwide. The queen.
Currently #8 on worldwide album chart. 26 years later. Impact
Bedtime Story music video the 1st music video ever to be added to the MoMA archive. Impact
I will admit I have overlooked Madonna for many years, it's only now going through her back catalogue you can truly see how much her ideas have been ripped off by people today.
me too i have overlooked her for so many years it's only this year that i have got in to her music
@misa95 (Gaga's little monster ♥) What we got here. Gaga's little baby is yelping.
@@shibba2517 They are obsessed with Madonna. They constantly stalk Madonna's videos to hate on her
@misa95 (Gaga's little monster ♥) Gaga's little shitheads are obsessed with Madonna 😭
@misa95 (Gaga's little monster ♥) OMG thank you so much, you just basically called us iconic! And unlike you, I don't need to stalk Gaga's music videos and trash her to lift my fave. Gaga would be disown you as a fan 😭😂
She is powerful in her craft and allows others to see into her world by constantly being of evolution. Madonna is Madonna.
the combo of Bjork's lyrics, Madonna's artistic vision and Nellee Hoopers production. I think this is one of Madonna's best videos and it went under the radar xx
it was so ahead of it's time - Bedtime Stories was a great album :))
Bjork only wrote 2 lyrics! TWO LYRICS! You guys giving credit to Bjork when she wrote 2 lyrics TWO?!!! Really!?? There are 3 people who wrote this song with additional Lyrics from Madonna!! Get it right!!!
Underrated masterpiece

Absolutely love all tracks from Bedtime Stories and it makes me miss the era that I didn’t live in. I was born in 1995 😬
95 was a fun year.
Oh my 95 was the year I graduated high school and Madonna was EVERYTHING ❤
I started grade 9 high school that year. It was a much better more carefree time back then!
