Hmmm, stock audience footage is apparently used. That shot of the guy laughing when he said "we would have also accepted medulla oblongata" was also used during the Question This segment from episode 1x29 when Ryan said his name was Neil Patrick Harris Senior.

3. Also, what does quagmire have to do with a Jewish duck? I get that the quag part goes with duck but what does mire have to do with Jewish?
1. Probably Trebek, but they censored it just in case of a copyright complaint or something.
2. It's a reference to the phrase "Smoke 'em if you got 'em."
3. probably a reference to biblical names like Jeremiah and Nehemiah, as mire sounds a bit like miah

In agreeance with other posters regarding Drew's terrible-ness. I always feel like he is trying to hard. It doesn't seem organic/natural.
I always felt like he tried extra hard cuz he seemed like he needed a friend. Hey Drew, youre sweet and handsome and funny, I'll be your friend. Love his smile. LoL God bless them. So talented. Enjoy their shows
Despite the fact that Drew is a far more successful comedian than any of the others (in terms of money made and publicity), he doesn't really have much natural wit or comedic talent.

I don't think she's the only funny one. I think Kathy Greenwood had her funny moments. Also Denny Siegel(?) wasn't all bad. And that's just in US version. Josie Lawrence was rather good and I haven't watched the UK version long enough to know any other good female participants.

The thing is, they don't really.. The show is so cut down, and apparently the scenes tend to be the same, because the rest, basically, is not that funny.
