Imo Minecraft was always easy, but when we were kids we weren't so keen on finishing the game. We wanted to build, be creative, explore, play with friends. But when we grow up that becomes more dull.
Minecraft is literally a sandbox game. You were never supposed to "beat" it.
i love the fact that we can change 100% of minecraft. from textures to models, from behaviours to crafts, literally everything. your modpack is a great sweet spot

Would you be interested in doing a video like this but a large group of people all working on a village together. I mean ik you've done similar stuff on the SMP but it's never been uploaded I don't think.
Yeah this would be cool, but there would likely be a lot of griefers if its not paid-access/patreon members only. Definitely like the idea of a video like that tho

I honestly understand how you feel about only enjoying early game, rather than end game. That’s how it is for me when I’m playing rust. Once I get to end game loot, I pretty much just switch servers and start over again.

It really is a reflection of real life. I think creativity and goals are life or game changing. I too find myself wanting to start minecraft worlds anew, but I stop myself, because I know nothing changes. It's just me buying into the dopamine hole again and I think if I find true curiosity and determination again, my minecraft playstyle aswell as my life would change.

I don’t watch MC RUclips, but I get into Minecraft every once in a while. I play hardcore, and I always used to get stuck overthinking building, having ideas that I couldn’t express and it got so stressful that I quit every time. I’ve finally been able to put down an awesome start to a village, thanks to your building videos.
You’ve got an awesome building style that embraces imperfections in order to look detailed, which is exactly what I needed. On top of that, you’ve got the same playstyle, appreciating things you discover and even have the same outlook on life. Keep it up man.

Thanks to you I brought the psvr and have got back in to minecraft and I'm loving. Vr with some textures on console has really breathed some life in to the game. Thanks for reminding my how good mineacrft was and still is.

Im one of those 2 week survival kind of people and ive been trying to find a way to actually enjoy minecraft for a longer duration. Your video's are a lot more chill and gives me inspiration. Other youtubers dont do that very well. Theyre always extreme

Hey, this was awfully cozy to watch, even if you were fighting for your life for like 70% of the video. Guess that's the joy of minecraft let's plays, one can freaking scream at the top of their lungs and yell unholy things but the cozy part and the sweet music of the vid sets the vibe. Guess that's what made the 100 days people so different: fast paced, bullet speed yap all in a 20 minute video, unlike the slower paced gameplays everyone's used to. You should try a nether only survival for a video, I think it would be funny
also (second comment from me lol) love the touch of adding reverb to your voice in the caves to make it feel like you're actually in it.
You can open to LAN and turn on operator commands to then put yourself back into survival. Great for fixing mistakes that aren’t your own
As a speedrunner, although beating the game super fast is obviously fun for me, I often like to take a step back and appreciate how beautiful a casual survival playthrough can really be. I've tried it in the past, and all I can say is that exploration is the coolest thing. I never built a base, I just flew around with my elytra and did whatever I wanted to do in the moment.
It seems like people always seek a challenge or playstyle beyond the base game. Whether that be redstone, multiplayer, creative, PVP, whatever:
Survival is fun. Speedrunning is fun. Try it out some time.

I think what happened is when your game crashed it must have been trying to autosave the world but when it did something happened and caused it to crash in the middle of doing so, resulting in not a corruption, but the level data (blocks) saving while the player data (your position, inventory, etc.) wasn't saved so it just used the player data from the last successful auto save which happened to be when you were digging the tunnel that now had already been dug, leaving you over 24 blocks up from the ground.
A 100 days of cozy Minecraft would be cool

I still remember how you died to a spruce tree's icycle from the immersive weathering mod in a hardcore run. Nothing like dying instantly to something unnoticeable like that in a game
Yeah at least that was a legit game mechanic though, this was straight up bs because I was never in a free fall until I loaded back in. It put me in a spot that I was never in before

I’ve been playing Minecraft for almost ten years and have only defeated the Ender dragon maybe once in a full survival world. I guess I’ve just never played a world long enough or really focused on killing it. I’ll have to make a new survival world and try to some time.
Hey Flowstate! Do your render distance mods and terrain generation mods require a beefy computer? I’ve got an Acer Nitro that I play all my PC games on; do you think it could handle it?
I've never heard of that, you need a pretty good PC to use Distant Horizons but I wouldn't say you do for just playing Better Adventures+.
