With regards to the part about maximising your potential. I think that your group focusses on potential as being monetary based. This isn't a bad thing, the world runs of money and why shouldn't you want to 'retire your parents' or whatever. But if you view your potential with another metric, for example fulfillment, or general happiness, suddenly maximising your monetary earnings can deduct from that potential. If what fulfils you in life is making art (picking a very generic thing which makes people feel fulfilled) then perhaps working at a retail job for only 2k a month allows you the time and stress-free to enjoy your life with your art and any more time maximising monetary potential will just deduct from something which brings you true happiness and fullfilment. This is just a very basic example and the metric used to for 'potential' can be nearly anything aswell. This also doesn't take into account how your future will look and how you will change. These are just my thoughts. For anybody reading this I would love to here what you think. I also understand that this doesn't actually effect what he says, because he is talking to those who are 'hiding behind' being happy working mundane job as a cope.
Yeah everyone's goals are different, mine just happen to require a lot of money because supporting family and friends requires money. My point is just to push yourself to maximize your potential, and to not allow yourself to be content with some shit job forever.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching the video but you put it into words better than I could've. I definitely agree that sometimes maximizing your income can actually be detrimental to your true goals (fulfillment, happiness, etc.). I've always been the kind of person who says "I just want a simple, peaceful life." I just want to have enough money to live comfortably, buy a house one day, and have savings for whatever else I want to do. Because my real goal is just having time to spend with friends and family and help them and just generally enjoy life. Obviously, money can help with that but if making more money starts to overtake your life, then it kind of defeats the purpose. I totally understand that some people's dream really is to have a high income and they don't mind everything that comes with it, which I honestly applaud! I just think it's important to remember that not everyone's goals and dreams look the same.

Once a person realises they can be happy at the point they are right now, they will learn they have a criteria for what they want in life. This criteria changes for each person. But for some people, its a very small list, and not much money is needed to fund it. This is usually where the 'simple' life comes from.

Based on your brief talk. At some point, you have to say when it's enough. The way I see it your mom is right. I am striving for more, but it comes to a point where I'm content and what I have worked for is enough. The problem with striving for more is not knowing at what point enough is, you'll just keep moving the goalpost once you hit it.

That talk about people wanting a simple life really opened my eyes. I myself have felt for a while that I don't need a fancy job or much money to keep me happy. After listening to you I realized that It's not that I really want a simple life, I simply don't have any motivation to get a degree to get a good job. Studying has always been the toughest thing for me. College seems like a bunch of words its honestly a mystery to me how it even works. I can work hard in a job but academic work is different man.

11:16 In my opinion making a lot of money isnt success in life I heard this line one time that is "You dont live to work, you live to experience life" (or smth like that) it completely changed my perspective, i sure ill like to make a lot of money but that aint what life is for i see people work their whole life to have a lot of money and then they die with the regret of why i wasn't spending more time with my family or friends etc even tho i kinda wasted my temage years (1 month aeay from being 18) i never really had friends never had a relationship never had what i should have or experience in my teenage years and thats just because I dind try and also because of my social anxiety wich is so unfortunate, i m trying to experience those stuff now you know step by step, remember guys "One Life"
I personally agree, as an extremely religious person Jesus says; "what good is it for someone to gain the whole world yet forfeit their soul?" and what is being pushed in the "self improvement' community is, get money mess with women. Recently I've had this kinda like revelation where I want to now help as much people as I can I want everyone to feel loved, and really understand themselves because after they do that I believe they can become who they are meant to be. I also want to help people come to terms with their trauma, in today's society a trend I see is people don't like to approach their struggles but instead numb their pain in a unhealthy way like abusing drugs watching sexual content or being promiscuous, or a healthy way like going to the gym. I believe their is a lesson to learn within every trail and tribulation we face, there has to be a reason this happened so we can take it head on and learn an important lesson or shy away from the pain by finding anything to makes us forget about it even if its for a moment. To talk about the quote Jesus says, I would also put my world aside to help other people gain their soul.

Not gonna lie, out of all the minecraft content creators I watch, this guy is my number 1 favorite. Not only he has entertaining video ideas, he has my type of vibe. Pretty chill and relaxing content, and i've been learning a lot of building techniques from these types of videos, (please make more videos like this) and also, keep up the good work man
It's always nice to hear someone talking about how, you should and can, "just do it". I am currently struggling with achieving my dreams, cause I don't really know "how" but, I'm trying, and that's what counts. Just try, something, even if it isn't specifically what you'd love to do, maybe it could get you there, with enough work of course. Anyways, nice video, kinda feels like a brother to brother therapy session 😅
About maximizing your potential, in my opinion it's just about what you want from life. Making tons of money is possible for almost everybody but it's a trade-off. It's not just about your mindset, it's about what you want to sacrifice in order to achieve that paycheck. For example in my life I value freedom over everything else, I want to be able to do whatever I want whenever I want. I can either do that now without caring at all about materialistic things like a nice car, a bigger house, or a golden Rolex or I can do it after working hard for 20 years at which point I don't even know if I'll be alive or not. To me it's not even a question, enough is in fact enough, I don't need anything else. Freedom over money any day. Basically what I'm trying to say is that before maximizing your potential, before working super hard, before working 80 hours a week to become a millionaire you should look within yourself and understand what you truly value in life. In your case working hard and making big money suits you and that's fantastic, it's just not for everybody. In fact, I'll go one step further and say that people would benefit from living life a bit more care-free, caring less about work and money in general, thinking more about spending their limited time in doing what makes them happy, especially in America, although it's easier said than done these days :S

Bro I’ve always liked (and watched way to many) Minecraft videos but so many get boring or annoying and this is the best build video I’ve ever watched, it’s a combo of your voice, your cadence, the way you slightly laugh at yourself. When you want any sort of particular shape, frame it out first. If you create a 4-sided frame of blocks to define the curve of your balloon, it will come out very nicely. Best way to do spheres too. It also very well for boats and ships - really anything where you want a specific shape.
I love how he listens to his comments and realize his fan base likes the relaxed vibes with just talking about his whole process and giving a lore. He rlly needs to keep doing these building with no plans alot

a tip for hanging ladders u can put invisible barrier blocks connecting from where the ladder starts and place them on the barrier blocks to give it the effect that its actually hanging from something

I think it would be cool if you make some janky airship instead of that hot air balloon. I get where your mums coming from with what she said about not trashing people for wanting a 2k a month job, some people need smaller steps to get to their fullest potential. Some people haven't been told they are worth anything ever, so being able to acknowledge that they have potential can be alien. Encouraging everyone at whatever level they currently see themselves reaching will only add to their confidence, and with every step they've achieved a new one can be seen. It's hard to see more than the next step in front of you when you've spent your life in survival mode for example. No shade at all because it sounds like an awesome community, just my 2 cents as a 34 year old thats had more life experience than I wanted by now 😂 Came across your channel last night and already binged so many of your videos, I love the way your buildings come to life and am finding inspiration in your building style. I know this would kind of override your parkour idea, but, it would be cool if you started in the hot air balloon and you drop down into a small lake. And since there would be a lot of people, you could also have an orange hot air balloon or a blue one. And maybe the parkour would be if you wanted to get back up.
The reason I think a lot of people say they'd want that life style, is because it's still manageable. In the sense, that they can envision home time, personal time. Where as the lifestyle that super successful people have, seem to be super time confined, and every interaction is pre planned, and "penciled in" on the calendar. So they put out the style mentioned because it's more approachable, while still being wealthy and happy.

Hey, first time viewer here and I have something to say. Bro I’ve always liked (and watched way to many) Minecraft videos but so many get boring or annoying and this is the best build video I’ve ever watched, it’s a combo of your voice, your cadence, the way you slightly laugh at yourself. It feels so natural and comforting. I wish for your channel to get so much more recognition, your vids are impressively high for these kinds of Minecraft videos already but i know in time you will be up there, this hits a chord that hasn’t been hit in a long time. When you want any sort of particular shape, frame it out first. If you create a 4-sided frame of blocks to define the curve of your balloon, it will come out very nicely. Best way to do spheres too. It also very well for boats and ships - really anything where you want a specific shape.
I love how he listens to his comments and realize his fan base likes the relaxed vibes with just talking about his whole process and giving a lore. He rlly needs to keep doing these building with no plans alot

More of an off topic comment but the creator of Diagonal Fences have made Diagonal Walls now which are awesome for paths and castles specifically. Other than that great vid the builds look great.

a tip for hanging ladders u can put invisible barrier blocks connecting from where the ladder starts and place them on the barrier blocks to give it the effect that its actually hanging from something

Tip: I always use trapdoors for little walls so you don’t see the door knob and the villagers can’t open up your walls :)

I think it would be cool if you make some janky airship instead of that hot air balloon. Something like the hindenburg zeppelin or massive wooden ship hanging under tubular balloons with a tail fins and fluttering flowstate flags. Otherwise, cool build bro! I really love hearing your tought process in each of building with no plan videos.

I get where your mums coming from with what she said about not trashing people for wanting a 2k a month job, some people need smaller steps to get to their fullest potential. Some people haven't been told they are worth anything ever, so being able to acknowledge that they have potential can be alien. Encouraging everyone at whatever level they currently see themselves reaching will only add to their confidence, and with every step they've achieved a new one can be seen. It's hard to see more than the next step in front of you when you've spent your life in survival mode for example.
No shade at all because it sounds like an awesome community, just my 2 cents as a 34 year old thats had more life experience than I wanted by now 😂

I know this would kind of override your parkour idea, but, it would be cool if you started in the hot air balloon and you drop down into a small lake. And since there would be a lot of people, you could also have an orange hot air balloon or a blue one. And maybe the parkour would be if you wanted to get back up.
The reason I think a lot of people say they'd want that life style, is because it's still manageable. In the sense, that they can envision home time, personal time. Where as the lifestyle that super successful people have, seem to be super time confined, and every interaction is pre planned, and "penciled in" on the calendar. So they put out the style mentioned because it's more approachable, while still being wealthy and happy.
