Thors actually can't kill the BCs in time and by going Thors he would enable our 2nd Terran to go Marauder + Reaper which would make him even stronger versus his wave in the middle. What happens if he makes Thors: 1. BCs blink back and stack with the Marauder Reaper which kill the Thors before they manage to kill the BCs. 2. BCs + Marauder Reaper beat the 2nd position wave in the middle 3. Ling + bane + Ultra push over and are now pushing into Thors from lane 1 so they are able to kill most or do significant damage 4. BC Terran adds Liberators and the game is over

But why don't you build a Thor to counter BCs at the beginning instead of BCs??
