That video took me as far as creating two business pages that grew up to 100k followers combined. Plus other smaller pages that made me money. I stopped watching your content towards end of 2021 because I felt disconnected from you. When you went on a sabbatical and came back and shared how you felt less authentic lately I felt so validated for when I felt disconnected to you. Now that you’re back with your authentic videos, believe it or not it makes me super excited and search your page to see if you’ve posted anything today almost daily. So much truth here. When I started my channel in May, I listened to the gurus and left out my personality because they all said, "People just want the information they searched for. They don't know you and they don't care to know you." Once I started sharing the 'Yhis happened to me/my family, but you can avoid it by doing X, ths game changed. Glad I stopped listening to the gurus. ❤

It's the difference between building a content factory and growing a garden of real human connection. Most creators (including myself) are busy perfecting their systems while forgetting to live a life worth documenting. You've flipped the script. Started with the living. Let the documenting follow. Morning pages aren't just a creativity hack. They're permission to notice what matters. To find the lessons hiding in plain sight.Your Notion system is impressive (as it was before). But your insight about authenticity is revolutionary. What I got was, we don't need more perfect systems for creating content. We need more creators willing to be imperfectly human. Good stuff. Been loving my Osmo Pocket 3 as well. I've been using the Elgato Teleprompter to be the compromise between bullet points and full on scripting when doing a talking head at my desk.
Thank you for the tips the ideas part was really helpful because sometimes on my other channel I'm working on coming up with new video ideas and the bullet points for the script I may try out because I tend to write everything out and speak and sometimes my friends tell me to change it up to try and add more of my personality in when I speak instead of sounding like I'm reading from a script/presenting

I have a similar style and intent with scripting, but what's funny is my seeds ends up just growing into expanded thoughts without actually making it to the expanded thoughts section. 😂 What's cool about this seed/expanded thoughts approach, is the expanded thoughts can be repurposed into blog posts or other content, which can be linked to the video. Using AI can make this a relatively quick process.
TRUE DAT! my seeds sometimes look like a braindump mess hahah. And yep! The expanded thoughts section is v helpful to plug into chatgpt so it has the full context, wheras the seeds section is a nice birds eye without all the filler.

I tried using the inspiration tab and it gave me so much anxiety! I need to pivot my channel and everything I came up with shows very low interest from my audience. I'm so scared to pivot! Do I start a new channel with my new ideas? Or do I pivot my current channel (3.5k subs with some high volume views on travel videos). I feel so paralyzed!
But when youre pivoting you’re probably going to be attracting a NEW audience too, so I’d take existing audience interest with a grain of salt. For example if I want to talk about beauty, I don’t expect my current audience who’s mostly here for social media to have a huge interest, but that doesn’t mean beauty isn’t a popular topic!

Its pretty plug and play. I film in 4k 24fps , -0.3 EV
That's it! and then in edit i increased the saturation by 20%

I tried using the inspiration tab and it gave me so much anxiety! I need to pivot my channel and everything I came up with shows very low interest from my audience. I'm so scared to pivot!
Do I start a new channel with my new ideas? Or do I pivot my current channel (3.5k subs with some high volume views on travel videos).
I feel so paralyzed!
But when youre pivoting you’re probably going to be attracting a NEW audience too, so I’d take existing audience interest with a grain of salt. For example if I want to talk about beauty, I don’t expect my current audience who’s mostly here for social media to have a huge interest, but that doesn’t mean beauty isn’t a popular topic!
