My mom has stage 3 ovarian cancer. Her tumor size was 14 x 6 cm. The doctors removed as much as they could along with her uterus, ovaries and fallopian tube and sigmoid cause the tumor was touching the colon. Now she has to go through six sets of chemo. I really wish to all gods that my mom would beat cancer.
Update after six months: my mom passed away. She took five cycles of chemo and it affected her kidneys and she eventually passed away due to organ failure and heart attack.

@@richelleegos3518 hey there, so my mom's cancer is curative and not Palliative so that's a good news for us and so far the chemo is going well. Of course the side effects are bad but with emotional support and just her will power to beat cancer is what really keeps her going. Some days are good some days are bad. Her total count decreases rapidly after a chemo session so she's required to take a G-CSF injection to increase her total count. The side effects are nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Because her sigmoid is removed she can't really control her diarrhoea with some pills. I hope I've covered as much as I could about her diagnosis. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer and please do not lose hope I know it's not easy but there's still hope. I'll pray for your sister's speedy recovery dear. Stay strong 💪🏼

@@Mariaashraf3930 removing my ovaries was the smart thing to do in my diagnosis. The medication that they usually put people on after surgery/treatment is what is truly damaging. I’m so sorry to hear that at 18 you’re walking through this. I have found Hope in eating well supplementing with vitamins, finding peace and being grateful. It’s absolutely difficult to do in the moment, but now three years from making that “decision” I’m seeing hope.

I had a rare cancer (a type of sarcoma) that I was diagnosed with in June 2022. I did chemo while following Chris’s program and then recently had surgery to remove the tumor that was in my inferior vena cava and right atrium. They got it all in one piece with clear margins!! Thank you Dr. Amy. It was infrequent acid reflux and bloating that also got me to the doctor who sent me for ultrasound and mammogram. And I was exhausted. My partner is a widower and I wanted to assure him that I was fit and healthy and he need not worry.... My ovarian cyst was grapefruit sized and growing... I called it "the citrus" as I could not say the other "c" word. My dr. told me to stay off the internet. I am 63 with a BRCA gene in the family so I could not do that. I scared myself crazy and kept trying to find answers I did not have. I have made healthy choices all my life and could not believe this was happening to me. I was also diagnosed then with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and my mammogram came back with an asymmetry. I actually consider myself "lucky" for my cyst. It got me to the dr. And it was totally benign, mucinous, but a cantaloupe size when it came out laparoscopically during my total hysterectomy. I thought my luck would hold with the breast follow ups but learned I had stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. This has all happened in the span of 4 months of real time. I had no breast lump...the area of cancer is so small my surgeon said if not for the mammogram it would have been missed. There is no lymph node involvement. Lumpectomy is next Tuesday and my oncology radiologist says I am an excellent candidate for abbreviated pinpoint radiology of 2 weeks. So the journey continues, and learning to be patient while your body recovers from each treatment is a lesson in patience. At each part of this process I have learned I have a fantastic partner and a great team of caring doctors. My partner and I have a long weekend getaway planned for the first weekend in August and I have shared this with my team. They assured me they will get me through this so I can go. My mantra is just keep living, just keep loving. Be kind to yourself and others. Listen to your body and be grateful. ❤ Thank you for teaching us all how to recover.....

I think the biggest thing with me was the inability to lose weight, no matter what I did. I have fibroids, endometriosis but was told by the surgeon that went to do my hysterectomy that I was too healthy: He said my ovaries were the size of raisins and he simply closed me back up. Fifteen years later, still can't lose weight and had chest pain in August and found out I had multiple cysts on my kidneys as well as other places. On both ovaries I had tumors, one was cystic 5cm. The other was a complex tumor 16cm. They are going to remove everything this time. Waiting for two more tests to come back and will know, but I know inside of myself the outcome. I am 68 and a fighter. Thank you for this post. You made me feel so much more hopeful.

  • @NanB12

I am sorry, I love your videos but a doctor cannot tell you that you have ovarian cancer just by an ultrasound. I have ovarian cancer and currently under treatment in Toronto. I had two ultrasounds (internal and abdominal), a CT scan and an MRI. They still couldn’t say for sure if the tumour was cancerous until surgery was done. They did put a doubt in the MRI but the oncologist said there was no way of knowing until after surgery and pathology of the tumour, if it was benign or cancerous.

Agree, ive had an ovarian cysts 15 pounds while pregnant with my son. They took it out during c section and luckily it came out easily. It did have some cancerous parts in it, they removed my ovary.
I now have a mass at that same spot, even though my ovary was removed. They did an ultrasound and found it. An mri and blood tests are needed to research more, as the ultrasound doesn’t show if it’s malignant or benign.

Should i take time off work so i can be home to help her out of bed and stuff like that? What kinds of food should i be cooking for her?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last August and went trough total right breast mastectomy, chemo, and recently had first reconstruction surgery. I was very healthy, good diet, no meds and worked out 5-7x/week. I was recently put on a
Anastrozole, after 35 days I had to quit due to fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations and nausea. I have been off it for 5 days but still experiencing side effects, just lessened. Any suggestions? After watching your videos I make myself workout which helps with the nausea and have upped my protein throughout the day. It helps! I go back to oncologist to discuss another med within the Anastrozole family, which I'm dreading.

Did you have COVID before cancer. Both me and my sister had covid then cancers. Endometrial, clear cell. Doctor ignored her complaints. She died. I had full hysterectomy. 6 months later returned vaginal. Had three cancers. Did chemo. Cancer free.A year of fighting these. I'm tired. Muscle down to nearly none. I stopped keytruda. Caused me to not see after second day of treatment. Sight came back but left eye still blurry.

I too was DX and was a shock, was never a candidate for this... but we do know cancer is up over 400% around the world since the CV mystery shot. The elephant in the room no one wants to talk about. I did not for sure take it, but people can shed on you. ... nothing can be ruled out. I do not think chemo is the answer and never was and should be at the bottom of the list of treatment, but insurance what they pay controls the world and you. I did do the chemo rounds, side effects were more muscle aches for about 4 days real bad then nothing else.. BUT doing research found ivermectin, fenbendazole and for your health 20 to 25grams of Vit C infusion IV ... in weeks my test came out cancer free when i started with stage III ... go figure

Well, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
