Good video Dave I’m going to email them Monday and see about getting one to test out in the field! Yes other commenters I have now installed 10+ of the maxum series openers and I’m not sold on them yet some good things some bad but I fear they don’t work well in the colder conditions and I’m curious to see how the boards old up and the openers themselves hold up are we going to be replacing motors every 3 years🤷🏻‍♂️ time will only tell but yes thanks again Dave I’m glad you did the comparison on them the power master looks like a really tough operator

We dropped LM commercial openers since they switched to DC and started using Manaras, we installed one on our dock door and it seems to be a good machine

Manaras build good openers. I just feel like I need to wear a John Deere hat when I’m working on them lol.

The liftmaster is now discontinued and obsolete. I haven't seen the new maxim yet, but I've Heard some concerning things about it already. We always use genie for commercial. They are fantastic. Could you do a comparison on one of those?

I love how the Power Master is built but it could use the ball bearings like the LiftMaster. The build looks very tough on boath machines. I love the fact that the Power Master has a terminal block for the external radio controls. I don't like the fact that if you slide a multi-code or a Delta 3 on there it will cover the model information. If LiftMaster discontinues ther commercial ops and moves to DC, this is a good option. I am curious about the safety sensors that these come with. Is it possible that you can sho the safety sensors at some point and possibly the jackshaft unit in operation?

They are still making “J” models for now because they are 1hp, but all the 3/4 are gone
