Why wasn’t C-3PO ever the hero?

- During the 70 minute Rise of Skywalker review, the Red Letter Media crew talks about Anthony Daniels. And more specifically, his constant requests to have George Lucas give C-3PO the heroic arc that he felt he deserved.
Does C-3PO and R2-D2 stopping the trash compactor not count lmao
C-3PO is always scared but he's still there anyway isn't that heroic.
C3PO saved R2D2 in the first film...by suggesting to Luke they buy him from the Jawas.
He says C3P0 weird. C3 pee 0
Midwest accent lol
Maybe he's saying it like how Anthony Daniels probably arrogantly says it.
My fave is Threepio himself. He says, "SEE-threepio". He really hits that "C".
The man is justified.
100%
His ego/arrogance isn’t legit... You would be crazy to believe it is! I can tell, in a lot of his appearances, he’s playing the character he created called “Anthony Daniels”; arrogant, egotistical, high-and-mighty.
Anthony Daniel's seems like a clown
"Daniel's"?
@@SuperTonyony auto correct, and didn't expect a grammar nazi to come out of the bushes 8 months later
Daniels and Kenny Baker never got along. From the 1970s to the 1990s, early 2000s. Nope. By late 2000s, they no longer needed Baker. C3PO is CGI or VFX in a few scenes too.
The music in the background hurts the humor
It’s C-3PO.
Not C3-PO,..
That's why Luke says: 3PO a few times. Solo calls him golden rod which is canon?
C3PO was a hero...without him the movie would not have progressed. "Looking for the last time at my friends." - C3PO
“Friends” pfft. He barely knew those characters and all they did was berate him.
@@briansolo totally
He was brought back like 10 seconds later. His heroic sacrifice was an over glorified reboot.
