My boy Izuki pulling his cool moves! I was mad hype when I saw Eagle Spear for the first time because of how damn hard this move is, props to Izuki for mastering it, this is why he's one of my favorite players! He basically gains more speed for not turning his body, but the precision and accuracy to do that back tip is... WoW! Speaking of cool "powers", if I ever had to assign Furihata one it would be "Pace Changer". Bench boys never registered under the radar until this game, but boy did Furihata make a big impression when he came to the spotlight! (For context, in the last popularity poll the other bench warmers placed between 59th(Kawahara) and 54th(Fukuda) while Furihata skyrocket to 15th place) When the seniors graduate I wouldn't find it strange if Furihata was chosen as the next Captain of Seirin. He's very observant, knows how to motivate his peers and is a great team player. More than a "coward" I would say he's a "coward lion" because he's brave. (Bravery doesn't mean being without fear, but pressing on despite of your fear) ...Not to say that Kuroko wouldn't be a great captain, he has the temperament and experience for it, but I don't know if his lack of presence would be detrimental in matches when others would need guidance in court or if the "spotlight" as the captain would be detrimental to his shadow style. Kagami is too hot headed for it so I don't even consider it. With more experience I do think Furihata could prove to be a dangerous player in the future, as far as spotlight go it might not be noticeable how impressive he is but one must remember that his debut game was on the SEMI-FINALS, subbing in the role of point guard Izuki, marking the SECOND STRONGEST Kaijo Player Kasamatsu and doing a darn good job at putting the team on track again with his solid assists, managing to even score a point under the pressure of a big tournament. Emphasizing again, DEBUT GAME. This is why Kuroko no Basket is one of my favorite animes of all time, support roles in other medias makes said supporting characters be lame and play off their contributions in favor of making others look cooler, but with KnB the assist players are as awesome as the scorers. It's pretty telling when the strongest miracle, Akashi, is a point guard.
Also Izuki does a bit of puns in between dialogues, its a little hard to catch on because most of them are kinda random.lame but funny at times. King of puns indeed.
And its in japanese dialect at times, like the interview after yosen match. Eagle eye in Uruguay. Eagle is Iguru, english word said by japanese, so combine is Iguru Eye, sounds like Uruguay. Pun intended.
@@rainofkhandaq6678 the captain, the BIG BLACK GUY, the headband shooter guy, the guy who throw the ball at a Japanese face during their introduction, and a Black guy that possesses a Better phantom ability than Kuroko since he he seems to never do anything in the field
I feel like the most exciting/hype moments in the anime come from the moments when the role players contribute or surpass their previous limitations when the moment demands it, they may not be any miracles but their will to compete and succeed just makes this show so damn good. Knb is underrated in terms of character development, much props.
@Tony Soprano Looks more like he's the only team with no notable players besides himself, other than Aomine's. Also looks more like he has to face 2 miracles by himself. Also looks like his leg is jacked up so he's nerfed.
@@rainofkhandaq6678 I would say only Kise team. Aomine teamn has the captain who is basically one of the only non gom or no eagle/hawk eye that can stop Kuroko and the youngest player that always say sorry that can shoot good 3 pointer. If i rank all team excluding gom + Kagami. it would go something like this. Rakuzan > Yosen > Touo > Seirin > Shutoku > Kaijo
@@syahmioziar5290 You're comparing that guy to an early Kuroko, not sure why. These players were fought first, and everything the later teams did are scaled to a stronger Seirin each time. Also if I remember currently that guy failed to actually stop Kuroko in the end, and he definitely can't stop a current Kuroko. By EoS, Seirin is ridiculous. Hyuga is borderline Uncrowned Kings level, and Izuki as well. Shutoku's Takao is in the same camp. That Touou ranking is way too high for no reason. Here's the actual ranking imo. Rakuzan > Yosen >= Seirin > Shutoku > Kaijo >= Touou. Yosen has Tatsuya who's borderline GoM, so while Seirin has more higher end players, he edges the out or balances them out. While Touou sits back and lets Aomine do work, there are a few times Kaijo has to hold the fort for multiple minutes while Kise recovers from his leg and PC use. And they effectively do this against even Seirin almost at their best in the series, very impressive. The Captain was able to drive through all of them, something Touou's Captain couldn't dream to replicate.
Great observation and improvement on basketball from Tofu. I remember she was clueless and cant actually get the hype with Kimchi on back to first episodes. And Kimchi was explaining her every time when something about rule happens. Looks like now she completely got it. Nice work guys.
Imagine if Kise had started playing basketball at a very young age like Aomine... The other sports he used to play are not as physically demanding as basketball (and I say this as someone who had tried volleyball, soccer, badminton, tennis, and basketball before).
@Tony Soprano Well, that's also true But I still find basketball as the most exhausting sports I've ever had played. It gave me injuries I'd never had before. But also the most fun one 😂
I wonder if kise's perfect copy is a result of him playing all these different sports where he copied and surpassed people, I don't really know but it might be weaker if he didn't do that. Though he would have way more endurance when it comes to basketball.
@@Joe.Elston-Gardner In the manga and OVA, it's been explained that Kise is just really good at copying movements no matter what it is. Be it dancing or driving (although Kuroko also scored 100 in DDR 😂) So I guess Kise was just born with such talent (in this case, the mangaka just made him that way)
I love how even this far into the games and GOM roster, KuroBas still surprises with its focus on Furi. I never would've thought I'd care for "one of the three first years" but dang if it didn't warm my heart to see him get to contribute and support his team. Bravo for another stellar reaction~!! Mad props to Izuki and Kasamatsu too! Love when the other players get their time in the spotlight.
Okay so let me give you guys some information, there is an old anime/manga called slam dunk.
