In case you didn't know, "Meteor Jam" is an actual dunk move that NBA Player, Dwight Howard did in one of the dunk contest.
Blake griffin did it too.

For the Meteor Jam you have to picture it like this, instead of jumping forwards from the line Kagami changed his angle to jump more upwards and get height instead
Also you reallllllllllly need to see the real life version it's just as insane as you think. Kagami's character is based most on Blake Griffin who has two IRL meteor jam dunks: one on Mozgov, and one on Kendrick Perkins

The way I understand it is:
Himuro's skill comes from his perfection of his technique but the zone is more you dont think you just move.
Murasakibara is perfect physical specimen but if he runs into trouble he gives up. being forced to compete he refuses to loose = zone

Its honestly why the games not involving anything plot advancing (Kise vs Aomine, Shutoku vs Seirin) are my favorite ones. Only problem I really have with this series is how predictable everything gets.

Actually if Seirin didn't made Murasakibara realize he really loves basketball and puts effort in it he wouldn't be able to enter the Zone. So yeah, they deserve the win
@@christophersabado2 not really, the matter isn't the zone but how the game ended, murasakibara got dunked on and got blocked while in the zone so that doesn't change much bit when he was about to throw the ball into the hoop his legs hurt but he is skilled enough to just throw it in BUT...
HE GOT BLOCKED BY KUROKO which doesn't make any sense but i guess they had to make seirin win somehow
@@noel2084 I mean yeah maybe kuroko is the worst character chosed to do that block but murasakibara is just literally standing so anyone who can reach over his head can literally block that. It is also understandable for his legs to give up on that moment, himuro explained it, he overburdened his legs by jumping consecutively
