Definitely going to make the highlights episode.

I've been an English teacher in Indonesia for the past 7 years and hearing this guy talk is so damn inspirational. I was teaching during the time he was growing up in Jakarta and learning English and watching RUclips videos. He reminds me so much of some of my students who would talk nonstop about American RUclipsrs and how much watching their videos have inspired them and endeared them to American culture. I've had some super smart girls and boys basically run circles in language development compared to the kids that weren't doing this. RUclips will always be a better English teacher than me.
Indonesians are wonderful people and even though there are many aspects of the culture I disagree with and there are forces at work in his country to stifle the kind of self-education and mind-opening that he's doing, by and large the population is full of curious, intelligent and "ready for the next step" kind of youth.
I love this.
Sincerely, that’s an awesome comment.
I'm going to subscribe your channel
But the thing tho is that not so many people is interested enough to do so... I've had so many friends that desperately wanna be good at English, but they don't wanna watch RUclipsrs or like the movies... I'm like what did you expect if you just wanna continue by learning through school and not willingly enough to taught yourself by something beside it... Bruh
@Dwain True true
I am watching American content RUclips videos in daily basis for the last 8 years but still can not speak English. I think there are very few Indonesia who are resourceful (and have resources) to learn and speak English really well.
"Cooking for people is like saying I love you without saying it"
baoke xie was hoping somebody else caught that
That's the truest shit I've heard in a bic
Food is like music.. you can convey all kinds of feelings through your cooking.. Go explore that! and let me know how a death metal meal would look like or a hip hop meal or how about a classical symphony?!
My sister met him in person, after a show. She said he was exactly like how he was in this video! Personable and sweet.

oh my God! i always want to know how hot are those sauces that are always up there in the video because everytime the guest star is from America, they always sweat and cry so damn fast. And then my favorite asian dude just showed me how hot is it in Indonesian scale, thanks Brian!
anyway, hello from Indonesia!
Joji is from Japan and he was CRYING
masalahnye sih... beda cara pengolahannya...
di indo cabe pedas tapi ada penawarnya, asin atau manis, bagi indo ada rasa pedas dan panas.
di sana... cuman pure cabe digiling... yah gak ada taste... yah pasti rasanya lebih ke panas aja.
Jane Lane Japanese cuisine don’t relatively have spicy stuff
@@zskt4205 most Japanese can't hold up spice very well. if you talk about Korean, now we're talking.
I’m Indonesian currently staying in the US. Got a neighbor who is obsessed with this show and he bought all of the sauces featured here. He invited me over to try them with plain chicken wings. I tried them one by one with no expression, I was like “that’s it?” Some were spicy but not THAT spicy. He on the other hand, was coughing, tearing up, gasping for air, red face, kept reaching out for milk while I didn’t drink a single sip at all. I told him in Indonesia we do real chili peppers, not extracts that come in bottles like these!

Food is everything for Indonesian, we love food sooo much (or respect)
"Cooking for people is like saying I love you without saying it." Thats deep and so true....
That's the general sense of Asian parents, they might not hug you or say "I love you" but, they'll insist you to eat like hell. First question, when you get to Asian family house, "Did you eat yet?"
bklyncrook I can relate man I’m Filipino. My parents or Asian parents in general aren’t the touchy feely types but for damm sure they make sure your well fed.

cooking for someone is cultural thing for Indonesians. we love food. we love cooking for people, taking people out to try our best food.
I suggest you to start watching Eminem.
@Grim Reaper arise I can't believe how long it took for me to see these comments. But yeah, I listened to a few and like the lyrics but I would not call the songs rap. More like pop. And the synthesized voice makes me cringe, no matter who it is. Auto-tune is cheating, but that's just my opinion. I felt a little let down.
Brian is the dude. Understands what being a bro means, faced those wings like a champ, and is just an all out cool dude. I love this show for how it comes out less like an interview and like people just coming out to chat and chill. Keep it up my guys you really bring an amazingly enjoyable experience.
