MAN you're a beast!! I've been following a different tutorial first and it took me a hot minute to realize that my models look absolutely dull in CC4 because it didn't port any of the masks. Thank you for making this tutorial! My only issue now is makeup, which is something I gotta figure out how to do
Nice video, but unfortunately it doesn't solve my fundamental problem any more than what feels like 1000 other similar tutorials that I've consumed recently. Everyone always shows how to import Gen 8 figures into CC, but I haven't been active in many years and therefore have tons of stuff for Michael 3 and 4 and Viktoria 3 and 4. I can import the .fbx files exported from Daz Studio using "import fbx", but then the character and the clothing are of course merged into an inseparable unit.... Using the Transformer, the result is always "failed to load character; No suitable setup profile found", which is slowly driving me crazy. I can export individual items of clothing and accessories and then import them into CC4 using "create accessory", but this is too tedious and in many cases it doesn't work properly (shoes, gloves, bracelets, etc. What can I do to finally get my Daz content into CC4? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
Hello, when i import my daz 8.1 character into CC4 it imports correctly, but when I go into the morphs tab there is none avaialbe? Any help why? Thanks!
hopefully this will include the updated version of daz the other video i saw had an older exporter so the options wernt the same....just frustrating thats it so damn difficult to export 3d files from one program to another seems this day and age it would be a lot easier lol
You just need to click generate profile and it will be on you my document and after that follow from 4:16 before clicking OK on Character Creator pop up window that has been shown.
Thanks for this Tutorial. Please make a Tutorial where we import Daz Clothes with Weight maps. The reason why I asked is because without weights maps, they won't work properly while animating.
Yes, every character on daz3d have different material names given by the author who created the original model, so unfortunately you have to do this on every model you bring in.
The mapping wont work as daz3d and cc4 generates different UV mapping, by generating profile you will get the daz3d UV converting into cc4 UV properly.
My normal maps are completely missed up when I do this. On the reallusion forums, others were having that issue as well. Did you run into that problem?
This usually happens when you try without the profile generate as i mentioned here, but in general times all seems to be fine for me. In which model are you getting such messy normals ? I will look into that.
@@worldofzen3d Strange, I used the profile generate and I'm sure I connected everything okay. I placed the normal, roughness and bump where they were applicable. The model I used was Babina 8
I just tested her and everything seems to be fine, here is a link of the result. I would suggest to reinstall cc4 or clear your temporary files (check google how to) and see if it helped or not postimg.cc/QFbw3yRN
Genesis 1 and 2 can be uploaded but I don't think you can use cc+ option but the native older version. Idk about M4 but u can try importing as a traditional fbx format but I'm afraid the facial bones wont be available.

Unfortunately, to my knowledge u can only import old generational models by the normal transformer not by CC+, still I will look into it and see if I can come up with a solution.

You are a real savior bro love from turkey
I was struggling with exporting to fbx, couldn't get it to export the character, just the clothes. But your settings worked! Thanks!
Awesome and simple to follow tutorial, thanks 👍
This was major! Thank you so much!
I am happy this tutorial was useful for you. Many thanks.
Very useful tips pls tell how to create profile?

You need to use cc3+ on transformer and then advanced settings.
hopefully this will include the updated version of daz the other video i saw had an older exporter so the options wernt the same....just frustrating thats it so damn difficult to export 3d files from one program to another seems this day and age it would be a lot easier lol
If you mean Daz3d 4.21 then the method is same, I believe i have used this version during this tutorial making.
The problem is in profile. You need to show how to use the profile.
You just need to click generate profile and it will be on you my document and after that follow from 4:16 before clicking OK on Character Creator pop up window that has been shown.

Ok I will make one soon.
@@worldofzen3d Thanks
@@worldofzen3d I also need to know how to bring daz clothes with weight maps in to reallusion. that is gonna be fantastic my friend if u help
@@24vencedores11 Yah gonna put the tutorial soon once I get enough time to record and edit.
One question - will a texture profile have to be created everytime a character is brought in from Daz?
Yes, every character on daz3d have different material names given by the author who created the original model, so unfortunately you have to do this on every model you bring in.
@@worldofzen3d thanks buddy... Please make more such tutorials
What is the difference between generating a profile and adding textures from the material editor in CC4 ?
The mapping wont work as daz3d and cc4 generates different UV mapping, by generating profile you will get the daz3d UV converting into cc4 UV properly.

@@wylerken Do let me know if I can help with anything else, have a good day.
Nice thank you
Is it possible to apply a Gen 8 or 9 POSE to a model in CC 4?
Absolutely. Just export the pose as fbx and apply it to your model.
is there a way to export out the male genitalia to cc4 its not for a porn but for and anatomy sequence i am doing?
I think you can import it as a prop, not sure about the bones of the genitalia tho.
Are morph sliders available during this process?
I never tested bringing morph sliders, but I am sure you can do it by picking up your morphs when exporting through FBX.
Does not work for custom types. :/
Could you elaborate a bit ?
Please just show me where to find the profile list, please
A profile will generate by default on your my document.
is ther a way to bring cc4 characters into daz?
I think through fbx with the animation, I need yet to check it out personally.
