Absolutely great video T. I just got a 91 that needs some tlc, and that throttle linkage had me stomped for a bit. I couldn't figure how to release it and then your video here came along. Boom! Thanks maan. Your demo and Mrs. T's camera work came together perfectly and I know how to remove that thing and now, how to change out the spacer flange/intake if need be 👍
Really good video, best one i have seen on how to remove carb linkage and white cable arm, learned a little more. Have you ever noticed the diagram on the choke butterfly position on the black plastic cover, i have seen several videos where they thought the choke butterfly was operating backwards because of those crappy pictures on choke poistion on the black cover under the red knob.
Them fingers may look like sausages tied in a knot but they sure can deal with the small parts T-Bone. However, you scored zero points on that gasket brother, Baby said she would have tidied that up with a pair of scissors before letting that go on her strimmer 🤣🤣. Once again great camera work from the beautiful Mrs T, we know shes the brains, beauty, advertiser and editor of this operation brother, great video,,, you are one fine mechanic
Good stuff T bone. I’m always learning and I haven’t gotten a chance to work on much stihl equipment besides saws. Thanks for the upload and info. I know the feeling needing those octopus fingers on some of these machines haha.
That person must of had that rolling around on the old trailer but hey its like new now you're such a pro ! 👊 Hey did I tell you I'm running for mayor of the town you're in 👔 🤭
T Bone, Awesome video. I have a question, when you are adjusting the valve to use the 8mm screwdriver to check for something where the spark plug goes. Is on minute 10:06 and you say "we are on the money". What exactly are you checking for there? TYIA!!
I have the exact weed eater. Was sent to the shop. They pretty much put half the thing back together with new parts. But it Boggs really bad. (If you can get it to crank). I did clean that little exhaust screen. Any ideas?
Clogged fuel filter or maybe screen and/or metering diagram inside carburetor. Also make sure it has an NGK spark plug not junk Autolite or E3 etc. Valves could be out of adjustment or even a bad cam
Not sure if you're still on here, should the throttle lever have a lot of side movement in it ? Was trying to watch yours but couldn't tell. mine has a lot of slop in it, can only get part throttle
My husband needs to adjust the carburetor what tool and I saw you got a 4180-120-6615D what does the DStand for I can find Amazon 4180-120-6615 but not the D how much did you buy the carburetor for. Great video Did you use the Stihl tool to adjust the carburetor or after market. And this is what the weed is doing we have had it for 5 years. Always worked but now is just won’t come up to the sound it should make no power don’t know if I need a new carburetor or just a adjusting have clean the screen with a torch and clean the carb with carburetor cleaner. Still not much power please help
Do you know what the letter at the end of your part number significates? I ordered an 4180-120-0615- E and now my linkage does not fit on my new carbeurator. It was an aftermarket ebay carb. For $34 Now im trying to pull parts off my old to make the new one work 😂
Fs100rx, new carb, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, new plug, adjusted valves, cleaned everything Still wont rev consistently or even start consistently tbh
First Remove the spark arrestor from the muffler, see if it's clogged. If clogged use a propane torch, heat cherry red and wire brush off. If that's no the problem Remove the muffler and spark plug. Rotate engine while looking at piston thru exhaust hole. You are looking for vertical scratches on piston. If that's what you see on the piston it will need piston cylinder kit.
@Raley's Small Engines spark arrestor was removed before i got this unit. . . Ive inspected the piston from the exhaust, intake, and piston top from spark plug hole and see no issues
Definitely a teachable moment here Mr&Mrs T Bone! You always make it look soooooo simple! Awesome!
Thanks so much my friend.
Love your videos!! You do go out of your way to thoroughly explain what your doing!!

Nice repair video T-Bone. Good to see you have your camera person back. Really good close up shots and it lets you work with both hands. 👍🎥🇺🇸 Roger

Awesome video,I hate that linkage on the carb!Talk about making it look easy!
Thanks my friend. It took a couple of tries, normally I pop that linkage right in. Yes that linkage is kind of a pain.

He was making sure the piston is at top dead center/ highest point the piston travels on the compression stroke so both valves would be closed.

Thanks brother.
Hardest part is always the little throttle link
Well T-Bone that was a mediocre repair job but that camera work was nothing short of spectacular. 🤣👍
I know Lol Mrs T is always the star of the show. Thanks for watching my friend.
Anytime brother, looking forward to the next one.
You did great. 👍🏼👍🏼

Yeah buddy!! Was this 1/7 or 7/7? Lol Either way you look like you could do it blindfolded! Thanks for sharing brother!
Lmao, actually it was #6 of 6 for this customer. I thought it was 7, the 7th was one of his hedgers. Thanks so much Kyle.

South Carolina
I would mail you my km91r to fix
👍
How many Thousands is the feeler gauge ?
.004
Oh and also have the same model FS91R don’t know what the R stands for
R means it's a loop handle bar setup instead of a bike handle bar style.
A few uggha dugggas just ensures proper torque.
Yeah I found a permanent fix for this problem buy a Husqvarna 535 two-cycle, no valves to adjustand, and it just runs forever
gas will kill carburetor just new 4 oilmax
yah but you didnt complete the mistake
Nice work Raley!
Thank you my friend
Well hell shit fire kansas
Sounds alittle like Ron White. They call me Tater.
