My dad was a professional painter for 25 years and we never put the paint in the fridge next to the food.
You're missing out bruh. Because food with paint in it is simply the best. I feel bad for you. You better start putting paint in your food to really experience the vibrant nutrients that are locked inside of the food, and inside of the paint. It's really delicious.
Eric Faist that’s the first time I have ever heard that and my father my husband when my mom made me paint my bedroom the paint roller wasn’t in the fridge afterwards my moms would’ve smacked me so u want my food to taste like paint that’s something new😂✌🏽❤️
oneminutetomidnight 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂YOOOOO YOUR FUNNY IM READING THIS THINKING IM GETTING A PAINTING TIP 🗣CHRISTINA PUT DOWN THE BLUNT NOW
That is truth my father was also pinter for 30 years
My father was a painter for 95 and always painted his food inside the fridge. 👍🏻
these videos are def helpful if you've never painted before. as a painter, all I can say is be sure to prep the surfaces for best results. God speed
How?
I thought I knew how to paint a room. I really didn’t want to mess this one up so I decided to take five minutes to watch a tutorial, and I am so glad I did. Thank you for all of these little tips that will make my room look less sloppy than how my last painting attempt looked.
You had any previous experience painting ? How did it turn out ? I want to try and I am so intimidated
I want to pay my room pink and my dad told me to paint it myself because he's busy so I'll do it😀👍 only problem is I can't pay the top because it is popcorn feeling if you get what I mean

Facts lol
Hah! I’m the Mom at this house, who keeps the paintbrush in the fridge. And if I could get my kids to do the work, I might not want to kick them out ! : )
You don’t even know what a roller is cause you’re busy typing and watching RUclips. Get up and do something son.
rafael ramirez on god
Paint trim first. Much easier to cut walls to trim than visa versa. When painting trim first it doesn’t matter if you get some on walls as will be covered with wall paint. Much easier and faster. Added benefit is the trim paint that overlaps on to the walls will provide a nice base for the wall paint and usually means that on the second cut you don’t need to get the brush and wall paint less than 1/8 th of an inch to trim.
When decorating, 75% of the job is moving/tripping over the furniture.

Such an amazing video. I love to watch all your video. They are super amazing and informative at the same time. Keep posting more!
Step 6: now call a professional painter to fix up your mess.

Thank you for the useful input.
When you finish rolling, scrape the roller into the paint can, not down the drown. Use your paint stick to scrape it.
Thanks for the info.
Thank you this video helps me a lot
thank you for the tip we just in and we really want to paint the walls so thank you☺
wow i do not know what to say indeed this is much easier in demonstration thank you
Thank u so very much , this helped me more than any other video
I can help you more with a personal video tutorial of course.🤓
Paint in this order - ceiling, trim, walls. Agree that you have to freehand the wall-to-ceiling trim. You can't tape that. I've never even heard of that actually! I also find that if you want a clean tape line on your baseboards, don't depend on the tape to not bleed through after you're done painting the walls. Paint your baseboard, or at least the top of your baseboard, the color you want it (typically white), THEN tape it, paint the baseboard color again over top of the tape where it meets the wall, let it dry, and then finish with your main wall color over that. Because your main wall color can't bleed through, you'll find the baseboard trim lines will be absolutely crisp with no bleed through when you take the tape off.
huh??
Nice demonstration 😊
Thank you for being CONCISE! ❤
Ceiling, trim then finish coat.....also use a rolling tray and not a 5 gal bucket then you don't have the mess. And you don't have to put the roller or brush in the fridge if you need to use it again after wrapping.
I love the smell of math in the morning.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
omg thanks for the tips
Awesome video, thank you for your time and effort
I truly appreciate you taking time out to postthis video. Often times, there isn’t enough detail in the video to get you going. I really look forward to seeing more on it soon. Once again, thanks for sharing it.
Thank You ! ❤
Great ! Thanks.
perfect....thank you for your useful tips
Glad this was helpful for you!
Wow, this advice is very contrary to what another video on Home Renovision DIY's channel said. They said never be tempted to turn the roller in a different direction, that the texture will be slightly different and that you should just do shorter strokes if you need to (like below windows), but stay in the same direction. I kind of agree with that.
Great tips on this channel! Good time to get to work, or have it done for you!
A nice coat of paint can complement as well as add a lot of curb appeal to a home too
High info density video. Nice.

Literally the best painting video on youtube. Thanks fam.
Tim Lisle will never Barbie shows Barbie show Barbie shows photos
This is actually a terrible video, NO professional painter will ever paint the way it is suggested here!
Tim Lisle
Tim - I guess that is why pro painters are always in demand.
This is far from a good video to explain room painting.
Not worth picking apart all the wrong pieces of advice. Sorry.
@@sandrodaniel I m disagree. Such video is prepared for DIY person. It is true that professionals r not doing so.after all professionals are professionals. Every professional have its own idea.
Thank you
Lets be real
You want a new room but no one can paint it cuz we are in quarantine
edit: i got a new room lmao
Uh say what? Im about to paint a lady's house next week LOL. Only corona I'm catching is the one that her husband offered me while I was there estimating LOL.
Try to do it yourself...
I’m actually painting my room rn. First day is complete. Just need to tape and prime. Today I got ride of one out of three doors, put the first coat. Cleaned out room, and took of the trim.
spraying or rolling?
I’m painting just be careful getting it
Awesome!
Awesome 👌🏿
So nice mam ..i was finding your video ...
you don't put a paint roller or brush in the fridge...NEVER
I do. Saves cleaning you brushes and roller. It's wrapped in plastic. What do you think it's going to do? I love it, wish I had known this years ago.
@@bobbiewhitten1718 Chemical emissions. All paints have them, even water-based ones. Unless you seal the roller REALLY good, the food is going to absorb them.
@@bobbiewhitten1718 As a professional painter this video is cringy. Never put paint or chemicals in the fridge. You can wrap them and put them in the basement, closet, garage and they're good for a couple days.
@@jonathanmosher72 is it okay if i wrap it and then leave it in the room for use on the next day?

Scott Steiner can help you out with figuring out the square footage. Make sure you add Kurt Angle into the mix.

Cool thanks!

Great! Now i can finally paint my brown retreiver gold!!!
How long should it take for you to paint a 10 feet x 10 feet wall?
V. useful vid., i'd strongly recommend using a face shield tho, AND head covering also.
i have a problem with edges. When we use the brush for the edges its shows a difference shade of the paint. Any advice on that?
As a painter i can say he’s speed is like anyone’s else and important thing when you paint…don’t rush and try ALWAYS to have paint on roller.
Thank you.
I like these tips. I never can get those rollers clean though. I talked to a painter once and he told me he always throws his paint rollers after a job because it's too much work to clean them.
Use gasoline to clean the rollers for best results. It Might sound weird but it's very
bruh
Get a Paint Roller Spinner. Make sure you spin the rollers and brushes inside a 5 gallon bucket or you will make a mess. Wash the rollers/brushes, spin them, rinse them again, spin the once more and done!
Try pouring gasoline on it, then light it on fire, that should do the trick 👍
Massengale and Apple cider vinegar and a solash a beer do wonders.
Nice
Awesome video!! Hopefully Home Depot has all the stuff I need 😃

Nice informative video. You share some pro tips here! Especially starting around the 2:00 mark.
BOTTT
Thanks for delivering such an exciting post. I hope to see more great videos like this in the future and keep the good work going on.
Why am I watching this I don’t even need to paint anything I just have a test due in half an hour
Good video. Simple to follow
Pro tip, do the ceiling first, then trim and baseboards, then colour last. Saves time!
How does doing the trim first save time?
stargateproductions pkmumgl
Colour last or wall last?
Where's your video, "pro"--?!
stargateproductions that just makes your job ALOT harder. Don’t be stupid. It’s like saying do the ceiling after the walls. Like my idiot painters did..
Got a big big one to paint dam 👍
Umm.... so prepping the walls isn't necessary? Got it 🙄
1. Wash the walls with TSP
2. Rough sand (grit size will vary) and patch any holes with compound/spackle
3. Sand patches and irregularities with a finer grit (I like 1500) to smooth out walls
4. Wipe walls with sponge and clean water to remove dust and let dry
5. Watch this video and follow the steps.
Oh and don't be a dodohead and put your rollers in the fridge. Wet a paper towel and squeeze water out so its damp enough but not dripping and wrap around rollers and brush. Will be good for the next day.
Lol, prep is key and will make all the difference. ;) Cheers!
About 10 seconds in, she says watch our how to prep video.

Y'all recommend any tips?? Cause I see the comment section and it's all " if you paint like her, you'll regret it"😂😂😂
Im just trying to find a way to paint my room😭😭
Same! Hahahaha
Sammme
right?? because everyone is saying her painting is trash but they aren't giving any suggestions or corrections 😭😭
Okay this is to many steps I just printed my room today and all I had to do was get paint on a roller and paint the majority of the walls and take a 1inch brush and go over the edges and the spots that the roller can't get and call it done.
Doing that it took me about 3 hours where as doing what's on the video would take me double the time
I know right! It's not rocket science.

That's relieving to know, planning on repainting the walls in my home, and that's basically what I was gonna do, but I've never painted walls before so I wanted to be sure on things, so I looked up guides to be sure, esp this one, the ones I've seen were really making it more extreme then I thought it was gonna be

Geezes all I want to do is just repaint my walls, this video gonna give me a aneurism with all this stuff
...how? It's a not even 4 minute long video with basic steps. Cover, cut the corners, fill in the rest. Start top to bottom.
You want the walls to paint themselves or something?
@@reiverdaemon Don't even bother, I've seen too many idiots in this comment section who either don't want to use their head or are bashing this painter for being a woman.
