How can they even play this without getting emotional?
when actually playing it, you somehow feel in touch with the song and your emotions don't show. or at least that's what happened to me when i play it. Listening to it gives back that emotion

I guess I was lucky to grow up with Miyazaki Film when I was a child in Japan. From what I can remember, my very first song to ever like was from his film. Although I have heard so many types of songs since then, but I keep coming back to this.
You can never lose feelings for one you truly love
This song makes me happy and sad and the same time, it's strange but beautiful
I will always prefer the original because that was what I heard when I watched the movie and was in awe over it.
This version is however, still amazing and beautiful.

I see the differences between your arrangement and Joe's. I also like the usage of harp, just curious, what did joe say about this arrangement?
I hope he likes it, it's a homage to him. I took the original tune and then arranged the orchestra around it taking inspiration from Maestro Hisaishi's approach to harmony and lines.
