I left a "recognised" religion [church] because of this very same thing. Certain progressive members staged a coup against the Minister and had him removed. Since then, I have not belonged to any specific religion - shunning them like the plague, but rather accepting that I am The Church and my communion with Our Farther is everyday via the Holy Spirit who is within me. All, all religions, are power struggles and money making enterprises. Tithing was a joo law called a Temple Tax; when Jesus entered the Temple with His Disciples, it is obvious He had no intention of paying the Tax as he had no money on Himself. When challenged, Jesus corrected saying that it was lawful to pay the Tax and told a Disciple to go get a fish and in it's mouth he would find the exact amount required. The reason for this is because all were still under the Law and it was not until the completed work of Jesus on the cross that the law was fulfilled and done away with, Jesus ushered in a new dispensation - the dispensation of Grace. The law is no more, you cannot access salvation by works; it is by faith alone. The pope and other twisted Christian leaders who say salvation is achieved by works and faith ar preaching a heresy. Start reading Scripture yourself and understanding the divisions in Scripture, the first books of the New Testament are written to the joos - not to Christians [gentiles] - the death and resurrection of Jesus changed everything and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost means that we have within us God. Forget your corrupt churches and realise that you are the Church.

Infallible God Man Jesus has never let me down. My Prayers are with J.M.❤ My most beloved Man of God ever. May God keep him,and bless him.
