Great review thank you, look forward to getting a similar SIG P365 for my wife and I. Went to our local range and enjoyed shooting the P365 compared to my Ruger Max 9 I do love my SIG P938 as I seemed to be proficient with it when I need to be. Truly enjoy the SIG product and the informative video.
I had already made my decision (to purchase the X slide for my P365, but enjoyed your video. I purchased the red dot Holosun. Nice to be able to see the configuration before I receive. I shoot much better (old eyes) with the red dot. Looking forward to shooting a lot MORE with the gun I carry since I will now be able to not just see the target, but see the dot vs. blurry sights. I 100 agree with the concealability of the original vs. the X or the XL. You can still add the mags with more rounds for the best of all worlds.
I’ve had mine for a couple weeks now and love it! I put it on my sas module since I already have the XL having the rmr on my 10 round frame is perfect!

I have the Surefire XSC on my P365XL and don't let the 350 lumens fool you. The light is plenty bright for what you intend to you use the gun for. I'll be picking up the P365X without the Romeo Zero tomorrow. Probably going to put my 507k on it off my XL. Use the X for carry and the XL for my nightstand.

I would carry it for sure if it operates great and hits where you want. I have learned to live with a G19 on my hip.
Does the Optic need the mounting plate? I understand that some optics will mount directly to the slide (keeping the red dot a bit lower into the slide)? Your opinion on best optic for this (i.e. no mounting plate)? Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this. Some details I’m curious about - Does the slide come pre-cut for both the Romeo and Holosun? Did install require an adapter plate?
So that’s literally a regular 365, with the curved trigger and the sight cut in the slide that comes on the X. The extra length of the X grip is nice so you can get all 4 fingers on it and it has the much nicer flat trigger
@@petebutler5139 yeah for sure. So it’s just a p365 with a 365x slide for the optics cut. The thing I like most about the x is the flat trigger and the extended grip, the built in sights are decent too but I’ll prob get a Reddot on mine eventually

Yes but their is slight modification required to the slide in the manner of filing down two of the nubs. Chpws should make a plate for it if you don’t want to do that

I took my regular p365 slide to a gunsmith to get it milled to receive a red dot, custom raptor cuts, and camo cerakote finish for $350. Still less than the p365x slide alone.
@@freakindawgen the optic does not make it more difficult to conceal at all, and as I mentioned in the video I run optics on all of my pistols so the manual of arms is the same

Budget wise the ROMEOZero is fine, the HOLOSUN is great, but last I checked 3 times the price of the Zero
add MagGuts +2 to the 10rd and get 12 in same footprint. Same for 12rd mags too

The Holosun 507k will mount directly to the slide and is IMO the best choice

The footprint is the same for the Holosun and Romeo zero. No adapter required

I have the X w/romeo zero. Really want a Holsun with the green dot, was told they don't fit the X as a replacement of the romeozero.
The only Holosun that fits the romeo zero foot print is the 407/507k

You also can’t make the X smaller, here you have all the options. I have a nearly identical setup except I have the tlr7sub and a coyote slide

You are correct. X slide is just 365 slide with factory optic cut and no rear sight
I PERSONALLY like the XL better because of the sight radius, little more velocity, not as snappy, & MOST OF ALL.... JUST looks better IMO
