    Put a rubber band mid length around extensions. Take a small section at the front part of the hair and put in a rubber band. Now start at 6:40. Your welcome!

    I’m definitely trying this now. Your tutorial was great very thorough. I know how to braid and I know how to add extensions to hair but I didn’t know how to try this really cool fluffy braid so I’m definitely doing this in the next week or so on my daughter thank you so much.

    Thank you so much for this video!!! I've never been great at pull through braids (yet I do regular braids just fine- go figure) lol and this tutorial REALLY makes me excited to try the kanekalon hair extensions again! (Tried the colored ones before for dutch braids, but got really discouraged because of the texture of the extensions, but you made me feel so much better about it) Thank you, I seriously can't thank you enough for this video!!! Just what I needed in the sea of so many videos!!!

      @@priscillaspreciousbrides I thought there was something wrong with it the first order I got... It just seemed so coarse and I thought there was an error, but then after hearing and reading more about these rainbow bundles, I see that they are made especially for braiding, and for black/African textured hair. But seeing videos like this make me excited for new jumbo braids I have coming in from ebay, and I'm excited to try this style!! Not for festivals, or anything, just for regular life, because the clip in separate rainbow colors in tiny little streaks take forever to place in correct spots that double braids would cover, but also, they are so thin and my hair is really thick and just past shoulder length, and I really want to see if these would actually be able to give me longer hair.. like a big long fishtail braid....I wish there was a way to feed these jumbo hair extensions into one!

    • @priscillaspreciousbrides
      @priscillaspreciousbrides  3 года назад +1

      I know they are extremely difficult to work with! I haven’t used them for a while due to covid. Love a fishtail braid!! Hope u enjoy doing all different styles. I might try and get back into it soon xx take care and thank u again for watching my video x

    At what point do you use the wax and the braid milk? Is it also applied on the extensions or just your hair?

    • @priscillaspreciousbrides
      @priscillaspreciousbrides  Год назад +2

      I would use the wax to tame fly aways from your real hair, braid milk on real hair whilst braiding. U can also use dazzle dust to get some grip on all extensions and real hair. X

    These are called feed in braids and they have been popular in the black hair community since the mid 80s nobody's saying that you can't wear your hair like this but can we please stop renaming it and give credit where credit is due ghetto untill proven fashionable

    • @MarisaBisping
      @MarisaBisping Год назад

      Actually, since the 60s... Back then, my aunts & her neighbors in the "ghetto" called this hairstyle "cornrows" or "track braids." The term 'feed-in braids" or "feed-in cornrows' is more recent to emphasize adding hair extensions to the natural hair while braiding, creating a seamless and gradual appearance.
      That's in America... couldn't tell you about how the Brits did it. Either way, a rose by any other name is still a rose. Styles and names change.
