August Braid Box Video: Dutch Braids with Kanekalon Hair by Erin Balogh

Hey guys! Here is the August Braid Box tutorial for Dutch Braids with Kanekalon hair. There are many different ways to add this hair into a braid but to keep it simple, especially if you have never used this hair before, I recommend doing this method 😊The Kanekalon hair you received in the box is hands down my favorite because is it so smooth and easy to work with and can be reused over and over. In this video I show you how I really keep the colored Kanekalon "on top" or visible as you braid. This may take a little more time but definitely makes a difference. If you find it too difficult, you can simply just Dutch braid the hair like normal and when you are finished go back over the braid and pull or pancake the colored sections out to make them more visible. Hey, your hair extensions look a lot smoother than the ones that I have bought and they knot really easily. Am I buying the wrong ones or am I supposed to do something with them to keep them smooth/untangled? Thanks

Every brand of braiding hair is different, some are meant to be more textured and some are smoother. Some brands are better than others when it comes quality so I recommend looking at brands that braiders recommend like DOPEAXXPANA on RUclips, she’s a queen. Plus also there is always some amount of tangling in every pack, until you get used to handling it and holding it, it may tangle more than normal.

And also with every pass of braiding you should detangle the ends cause braiding hair can really get tangled if you let the sections get too twisted together
