    I found it really helpful to use water and hair gel to get the hair strands under control. This is from a very beginner thank you for the tutorial!!!

    Do you have an Amazon link for your preferred hair? The ones I bought are clearly poorer quality than what you’re using, it looks so sleek and easy to manage for you.

    Could you pls go over in depth how you mixed the hair? You did it so fast & made it look so easy.. But when I do it, it keeps becoming a tangled mess :( I feel like I'm wasting so much hair. and it's so uneven. I struggle to just get past that part.

    Do you think it’s prudent to use 2 elastics per tie in case one breaks if you’re going to steel it by pulling the hair thru with the crochet hook? Also, sometimes when I pull the hair thru with the hook it gets so tight it’s almost impossible to pull it thru. What am I doing wrong?

  • @midnightqueen3332
    @midnightqueen3332 5 месяцев назад +1

    Thats a latch hook, its used for like the rya tie or whatever carpet tapestries that were popular in the 60s-80s.
    A crochet hook does not have that flappy latch bit.
    I would never use a latch hook for crochet, and I would not likely use a crochet hook in place of a latch hook.
    Just thought to clarify.

    When you add the braids do you just use the elastic and cover it with the crochet hook?

    So you had four 100gram bundles. You used half for one side of braids and the other half for the other side of braids? Or only half for both sets together? Sorry I just want to be sure before I buy some bundles to try.

      Try using some pomade on the strands to help with the sleekness, if you have to brush through the strands so it dosnt get tangly, I’m sure that would work!
