I have been catching glimpses of your fab jewelry and, thanks to the wedding video, I understand the meaning of two Ts! 👍🏼♥️🇨🇦

I haven’t sold on Facebook Marketplace but I’ve bought from people. We’ve always met up at a public place like a mall or sky train station. Oh and Tim Hortons too

Yes to the oil changes!! The engine on my car locked up last week because of oil issues. Lesson learned the hard way 😢

Nooooo! Once when I was 20 I actually just let my car completely run out of oil 🙈

you should do a video of Thomas’s favorite things. people who have a hard time getting gifts for their partners may get ideas from the unicorn’s favorite things.

Another option, Mare, is using consignment stores to sell your treasures. I have the same reservation about Facebook marketplace as I am reluctant to lose my anonymity. 👍🏼♥️🇨🇦

The RCMP recommend meeting somewhere other than your home for pick up of fb purchases/sales-like their parking lot for safety reasons and NEVER alone
I’ve had luck with purchasing but not selling-especially clothing.
I LOVE the way you have started referring to the Unicorn as “the husband”-like you are thrilled to call him that the honeymoon stage. Like it gives you a thrill to call him that❤️❤️❤️🥰

I think it depends what I’m selling on marketplace. If it’s more than a $20-$30 item I will post it for sale. I always “pre look” at the persons profile who’s interested. If they appear to be “normal” I’m okay for them to come to my place. Or I meet them at a near by public location. Oftentimes I make sure my husband is home too.

I’ve sold a ton on Marketplace and picked up some great finds there as well. I’m not worried about people knowing where I live because you can view their profile. I also think that they are likely just like me, selling their own stuff. Maybe if I was selling a high ticket item like a cell phone I wouldn’t, but I don’t think someone will rob me after picking up a muffin tin from me 😂 I don’t ever give my address out until the person commits to buying and most times, I leave the item on the porch for pickup and they leave the cash. I’ve never had a problem.

I have bought almost all my baby stuff off market place. Love thrifting! I have sold quite a bit. I have a fake name on fb and a picture of my cat not me and no friends literally just for buying and selling and don't release private details. Just like dating I always have a few pleasantries and if any red flags I go on to the next person. Been doing this for years for no issues which is great!

That is pure GENIUS! I love the idea of having an alias account for Marketplace :)
