Shrimp Etouffee- At Home Recipe- Simple and Classic Cajun Meal

- For this weeks video, Brian went with another classic cajun dish, shrimp etouffee. Etouffee is a stew that is typically served over white rice and is delicious with all the vegetables and seasonings. It also has pretty simple ingredients that most everyone already has in their home, so no special run to the store for this one!

Ingredients used- yellow onions, plum tomatoes, celery, red bell pepper, butter, salt, black pepper, flour, garlic, bay leaves, pimenton, chicken stock, sage, thyme, shrimp

OMG, the best Shrimp Etouffee I have ever had was in New Orleans. The restaurants was off the main strips and was in a small neighborhood. We tried going back but after Katrina, they closed. Looks great Brian. LIKE 21.

Brian leaves the bay leaves in. I usually end up unknowingly taking a bite 😂. Brian makes enough to feed the army so we leave them in for all the leftovers to keep soaking up the goodness! -S

Pimenton is like a smoked paprika. It’s amazing how we always think things are difficult and then they actually aren’t. This one was pretty easy! -S
