This not New Orleans, the territory is not small that needs to work, it is huge and difficult to get to, this recovery is going to take them more than a few years, and on top of that there appear to be some desire on the government part to get rid of some of the poor people in the area, And that means some delay in bringing utilities and helping them get started on recovery. I am sorry to to see Wood being destroyed that could've been used for firewood and maybe even salvaged for building materials. Oh the chemicals spread by the floods are now well out of the area, they should be checking all water ways connected to the devastated areas for a long ways down stream.

Any wood that was in the water is saturated with numerous toxins and the soil from the water is as well. Sewage, petrochemicals, manufactured chemicals and virtually anything harmful to biological entities got washed over a huge area in huge amounts in the waterways and is still here in anything not specifically treated. We're in for a long haul.

We don’t see it….debris like a war zone everywhere. They need lawyers to get insurance paid.

I’m going to call balls and strikes.
FEMA is doing some work but needs to do a MUCH better job of telling USa what they are doing.
There is no reason to not be transparent.

    What a bunch of BS...
What about the toxic contamination in the pipes...
    Good luck with that
