- A trip that I've dreamed of and planned for nearly 4 years. my first attempt was in July 2021. Shannon and I were in for a slightly rougher time than predicted with 5 days of storms on the way and 1 broken boot on the first day, the trip lasted 24hrs - but it taught me a lot.
This time..... we came and we achieved, watch as Joel and I embark on 5 day hunt behind the gates.
Great effort fellas, nothing like coming home with a win and some stories to share with the family. 👍🏻

Sorry about this miss on that big stag it happens luckily it did not get hit. Iv touch that 2 years ago missed one with crossbow a small whitetail deer at 20 yards shot under it just skin hair underneath walk around for over 3 hr looking. To see arrow got deflect from sampling with me sittings on the ground. Called in big mature buck and doe up north 2hr in my dad shot that same buck think 2hr later. Bc i pass 10 yards . Miss a doe 30-06 same day bc using my wifes uncle rifle handown to me scope high mounted scope not use to had range hitting good shot at that do inside 20 yards should use iron sights zip a rd right over it.
Following year i remounted a new scope low and re-sight with 150gr that gun loves and took a small button buck same spot missed the one with crossbow on a Sunday hunt. 🙏.
All comes around when he wants it to 😮 for us . That 6 point ur buddy got was ment to be their i say.❤
