    Good to see, you take the whole Carcass, and not just the backstrap.

    • @Thehuntsmanshow
      @Thehuntsmanshow  2 месяца назад +1

      For me the meat is the prize, so not taking as much of it as you can is a bizarre idea. I don't carry out the full carcass of every deer i shoot (like Sambar for instance). But fallow deer are small enough that you can get most of the meat out with a carry.

      I think it was the quickest shot I've taken this year, literally a few seconds between seeing the deer and pulling the trigger. I usually like to take my time, but after missing the bigger bucks i wasn't going to miss out again and risk it. Haha. Thank you Tj for your kind words too.

      @@Thehuntsmanshow Hi Chris, going well. I am still early with my hunting learnings so no trips as yet.
      I have had a few range days, but still need to learn to shoot properly as I am starting from scratch, from which I hope to go out maybe, late Summer or early Autumn (if my shooting is ok).
      Your videos are fantastic, informative, well narrated, perfectly filmed and truly tell a great story to the viewers. Every time I watch a video, I learn something new and they have inspired me to explore hunting and hopefully take up a new hobby. You truly tell a broader story that picks up the human and friendship aspects of hunting whilst showcasing the the beauty of the natural environment; keep up the great work.
      PS: A beginners video may be of interest to me; ie where do I start ?

    You wouldn't do that carry out here in Ireland or you would have a homemade scarf of ticks 😢

    • @Thehuntsmanshow
      @Thehuntsmanshow  Месяц назад +1

      Ah yuck. That would suck. The wild deer here are really clean. Some of the wild pigs not so much, but the deer are fine.

    • @Thehuntsmanshow
      @Thehuntsmanshow  2 месяца назад +2

      Great question. It's the Hyperpod 2 from Eagleye Hunting Gear. I love it! It's a shooting stick that attached to your rifle so you don't need to carry it around separately. They have also just released version 3 which I've been using recently and liking. You can find more info or buy one here www.eagleyehg.com.au/smartrest-gun-rests/smartrest-hyper-pod-3-complete-kit.html

    I’m not sure why hunting channels hardly talk about their rifle set ups.

    • @Thehuntsmanshow
      @Thehuntsmanshow  2 месяца назад +1

      Well i guess it depends on how many videos they make. I imagine that it would seem weird if you always talk about your rifle in every video, or even every second video. If the channel makes a lot of content it could be a bit much.
