Not mentioned in this review - the ELS 3D surround system (and even the 12 speaker) is unbelievably good. That alone is enough reason to buy an RDX in my opinion lol
The ELS 16 speaker sound system is a top contender system. 4 speakers lined in the roof of the car give it superb surround sound. Not to me to mention the small sub in the back.
I would take each of these 3 new Acuras over all their competitors. So glad to see Acura back, they have a different more approachable personality to them that really resonates with me
@@vorsprungdurchtechnik5 yeah it’s pretty pathetic. The ES is the most boring car ever, the IS is from 2006, the LS is not on the same level as the S Class, 7 Series nor the Audi A8. Even their SUVs are outdated, might as well be Toyota plus
I love this 2019 RDX A-Spec. Interior is very well sorted out. Lovely steering wheel. This will be fun to commute on daily basis with. Engine sounds smooth though loud (but by no means unpleasant). Nice roads by the way.
I test drove one yesterday and it was nice but sporty. It's loud and noisy. It's for people who love sports cars. I'm a luxury quiet driver so it's not for me. And I have 3 kids so it's the MDX for me. Very nice and beautiful tho
If you put it in comfort mode, that disables the fake exhaust note through the speakers and then you get a much quieter drive. Not as quiet as the MDX, but I think the tradeoff is worth it for the much better handling and not feeling like a huge SUV.

I would advise testing the RDX in city traffic (or anywhere besides the open road) before deeming the transmission 'smooth.' The 10 speed gets awfully jerky, the the suspension is far too stiff over anything except a perfect road.

I totally agree.. that sounds effect was just coming to live.. unbelievable..
For 45k that seems a bit steep, particularly for a CUV
I would rather go for a CRV with a high trim if I really need a crossover with that

Really solid car all around perfect only thing I would love is a fully digital gauge cluster like the new accord
The accords isn’t fully digital, but it’s not a big deal for me I like the classic analog better anyway
The new accord actually only half digital the left cluster is analog. Honda just did an awesome job of concealing it.
