I feel bad for him and his family but I just don’t get how he could sit through that trial and also know about the fbi investigation and still think his brother was hit by a car. It makes no sense.
Denial… most powerful form of self protection known to humankind… he just doesn’t want to have to believe all these ‘professional’ people his brother hung with are so corrupt and would do such things to his brother, a fellow officer. @@dionreed7325 From the 5.07am 1, Meadows Avenue footage I saw during the trial, there was a missing piece -- and I -thoight- thought there was more red tail-light housing intact to the right of that missing piece then than seen in the crime scene photo that was attached to Trooper Joe Paul's accident reconstruction report. ....I found the ARCCA experts' testimony that the damage to Ms. Read's Lexus did not come from striking Officer O'Keefe & that the injuries he suffered were not consistent with being struck with a vehicle travelling 23-24 mph very compelling. As I did the educated professional opinions of the case ME, the retired forensic pathologist (once also a long time ME) & the retired ER doc (also once an ME) that the appearance & orientation of the lacerations to Officer O'Keefe's right arm were not blunt force trauma injuries. .....As well, didn't the Lexus' black box show no events (impacts/accidents) at that time or am I mistaken about that?

I have questions . What inconsistencies? What cover up? Facts? When a dog bites they leave teeth marks, puncture wounds. Not discounting 'expert' witnesses but many times they aren't experts at all. I don't know enough about them to say.

Why wasn’t the house searched? Why do the marks look like dog bites? Why was the dog rehomed and the house sold? Why no one hands over their phone to figure out where they were and when? Why did it read on john’s phone that steps/stairs were taken? Why did the video first appear flipped to hide the taillights side? Why did the Brians at the bar look like they were about to fight with John? Why are the injuries consistent with fighting injuries? Why would he stand there and let a car plow into him? I get the family wants closure but locking up the wrong person is not the way to get it. 🙏

I can't imagine the pain this family has been through over the past few years, but sending a person to prison with very poor and/or no evidence to support their guilt is a bad idea for everyone. If you're going to be mad, be mad at the Massachusetts State Police and the Canton Police Department for doing such a terrible job with this investigation and creating reasonable doubt in almost everything they did. I am so heartbroken for him and his family. How much loss is one family supposed to take! It's so unfair. I don't blame him or his family for believing what the investigators and the DA are telling them. Every victim I've ever heard of (with just a handful of exceptions) believes the going narrative of the DA no matter how illogical. Meredith Kurtcher's family believes Amanda Knox killed her! So this isn't surprising. I lean toward Karen being actually innocent in which case I think it's sad that he thinks justice is Karen going to jail. If she is actually guilty, the DA failed the O'Keefes by putting on such a weak case filled with reasonable doubt. Either way, the O'Keefe's aren't getting justice and that's the fault of the commonwealth through and through.
Paul O'Keefe threatening Karen on probation wasn't a good idea, he was charged with DUI smashed a car and put someone in a wheelchair. Karen Read paid his bail!!

I can't begin to imagine the pain this family is going through. But Karen Read's guilt was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
John and Karen weren’t fighting that not as shown on the bar videos, they were “lovey dovey” even. She didn’t start start fighting until after John would answer her calls or texts, I can understand how frustrating that would be, not knowing John had been hurt, but just thinking he was blowing her off and he was partying all night. That’s when she left what sounded like arguments, complete frustration because he didn’t answer her.
David Yanetti said it was an accident because the DA’s office claimed to have video of Karen hitting John. That video has never been seen by the public because it didn’t exist.
I can’t imagine that Paul O’Keefe was paying attention enough to know what David Yenetti said, but not enough attention to know why he said it.
It’s truly sad to see him blind to the actual evidence. I hope one day he allows himself to reconsider what happened.
