    Do you know where you can find 80a and 95a liquid? Or do you have any kinds you'd point me too? I'm using this for automotive bushings. Google is not very clear.

    Hi, great vid. Is there a material that can be cast at room temp and which is as durable as PP? I am looking to make a car part which is very thin - 1-2 mm and I need a very strong material. Do you have any idea pls? I understand that Polyamide or TPU could be - but can they be cast? Or is Polyurethane good too?

    +Fiberglass Warehouse Is there any difference between Polyurethane used for casting and laminating? Is this can be used either way?

      This is a casting polyurethane. For laminating, polyester is used.

    what kind of resin would you recommend to coat some stripped wires that
    are T-joined (so I can't use heat-shrink tubing unfortunately)

    Can you use this with fiberglass material.

    • @fiberglasswarehouse7847

      +DarkLinkAD - Polyurethane isn't used very often with fiberglass. It is more expensive than polyester resin. But yes, it can be used with fiberglass, but rarely is.

      No, it cannot.

    So this is a mix, pour and let stand. No need for a pressure pot?

    • @godurmumishot
      @godurmumishot 3 года назад

      I was thinking the same thing. Usually polyurethane would foam without the pressure pot.

    • @jbaasdad
      @jbaasdad 5 лет назад

      No, it is a hard plastic. But polyurethane comes in different durometers, from soft rubber to hard plastic.

    don"t we have to degas the PU resin before casting?

    • @herbschumann4906
      @herbschumann4906 5 лет назад

      Not for something like this. That poly is thin to begin with and the part they're making is going to be used for anything structural, take any weight, or be exposed to any sort of extreme temperature.
