    As someone who was projected to go JUCO before injury this is inspiring to me you truly show that division doesn’t matter and its the hard work and determination of an elite runner to run fast, even if ur competitors are less competitive than D1(even tho D2 is still very competitive)

    I'm experiencing some runners knee while preparing for an ultra. I'm curious on what you do for recovery or to take care of these tedious injuries? Love the content though man! Intentions Over Everything!!!

      I’ve never dealt with runners knee, so I’m not really the guy to ask. But usually if I get something that flares up, I look up therapy methods to try to work it out while continuing to run. Then if it doesn’t go away within a week, I’ll take a day or two off and really focus in on some rehab.

    I am not big into running but I wrestled and am very familiar with it but its becoming more and more convenient to get cardio done with runs.
    Any recs on to get yourself near anaerobic max and maintain it?

    • @TheBrockKelly
      @TheBrockKelly  Год назад

      Like an anaerobic threshold? I would say a hard tempo run would do that, especially in the later miles. Do a mile or two for a warmup, 3-5 miles at a tempo pace, then a mile cooldown. Not sure what your ability is, but you should be able to get your heart rate up to around 180 after about a mile or so of running. Once it hits that zone, hold it as long as you can.
