    not many professors know exactly what these displacements are and for what they occur, they just come and derive it on board. great work sir, big respect for you sir.

    Very Good Content
    Explained perfectly in nice flow,
    Just Make it More professional, use big board, good background, and change the name of channel, and also change the thumbnail
    Like i said, make it professional.

    sir, when you equate both the reduction in mass flow rate then how the limits changes from (0 to delta) to (0 to infinity)

    • @asifhusain3425
      @asifhusain3425 4 года назад

      becoz boundry layer changes along the plate length ( X ) from the leading edge (where y=delta=0) to the boundry layer ( y=delta)

    Sir how do we increase boundary layer thickness ? Do we uplift the plate in positive y direction?
    Because i didn't understand how boundary layer can be increased by keeping the plate stationary. Kindly explain

    • @onlytanmay
      @onlytanmay 3 года назад +1

      We don't lift any plate it is just an observation . For conservation of mass or flow rate, the displacement thickness is observed
