It's not just a matter of per capita income. The working class Singaporeans' quality of life is vastly superior to their counterparts in the States, especially once cost of healthcare and housing are considered. Many Singaporean citizens earning less than 40k USD a year can still afford to own subsidized housing (good quality apartments with excellent maintenance and amenities relative to public housing in the West) while raising a family with 2 kids, as long as they keep to a modest spending pattern and don't clamor for private cars (which are deliberately made exorbitant by the government to curb road congestion). If both parents work their children qualify for subsidized childcare and early ed, and the public schools here are generally better too.

I loved every freaking thing about movie. Grew up watching Michelle Yow in Action movies. This was such a beautiful movie and the actors and actresses each had there own story. It almost was so distracting from the main characters love story, which is nice.

I loved every freaking thing about movie. Grew up watching Michelle Yow in Action movies. This was such a beautiful movie and the actors and actresses each had there own story. It almost was so distracting from the main characters love story, which is nice.
