personaly, i think they did great job
cause they knew they coildnt pull a Countash out of Wilrider mold, so they eecided to do z Jalpa ibstead, wich is another less know model of Lamborghini

@@DMSL2007 to me (and I will mention I don't have breakdown or wild rider yet), it looks like you could just split the spoiler yourself and have no issues. Just a clean cut down the middle would probably do the job. And I'll probably do that when I end up getting Breakdown myself
As one who’s finally got all five Stunticons it’s very satisfying to have them and Menasor. Hope that a Bruticus gets made soon, would be cool!
Looking at what's in Legacy Evolution and Legacy Uni, it looks like Hasbro might be giving us the Aerialbots next.

In the late 90s I’ve had so many recurring dreams of a G1 accurate Stunticons set. Fast forward 20+ years, my dream came true. Of all the iterations out there, which is the best G1 accurate Stunticons/Menasor?
As far as Menasor, People forget in the in the Original Cartoon, that's How he Looked. Breakdown and Wild Rider were on the back of the Legs. In fact, Original animation, all the cars are just like this toy, Basically Armor Pieces on Motormaster.
Accuracy isn't necessarily a good thing, it's not that we forgot, it's that cartoon Menasor has always been ugly

@@skyatollah2skyharder276 it's not 100% cartoon accurate, better proportions, details etc, but the cars on the back are still kinda dumb on him, even if accurate. an option to have it on the front would have been cool

@@miragexl007 accuracy is neither good or bad, it's a design choice, but here where none of the figures are accurate, just resembling the characters, improvements could have been made. Really really like the figure though, but he's really lacking the colors of the cars on his legs to me
I would love if Hasbro put out a TechnoBot set in this Legacy series, mainly because Scattershot was one of the Transformers hand-me-downs that I loved as a kid
I know they're probably gonna do Superion next, but if Hasbro gives us a Bruticus that's done this well I'll be a happy camper. I love my MMC Assaultus but sometimes you want a WFC scale figure that's easier to transform and mess around with.

I’m happy with mine overall. I did do the thigh extensions though. Looks a lot better to me with them. Plus his knees don’t slide out of the joints as easy anymore with extensions.

My gripes with Breakdown is he had one gun while others dual wield.
Don't have a nervous BRAKE DOWN over it

I don't know how some people already have all five figures. I still only have Dragstrip, never seen Motormaster in stores, and every time I check stores, the wave with Dragstrip keep getting restocked, lol
I've no idea what's going on with these waves or when the second Stunticon will even show up in stores (in the US anyway)
I’ve got all of them but Beeakdown, but only because I ordered through BBTS. Haven’t seen anything but drag strip on shelves around here either.
Wish I had the whole team, I only have dragstrip. Have yet to see the other 4 in stores.

Stupid question but can combiner wars legends shockwave fit in Menasor's hand?
What I did with Menasor's mount is I plugged it into his back and turned it into a set of wings
People have told me about that, but I don't want to do that. Good suggestion though.

I got the Toyhax Menasor stickers weeks ago and it was well worth it. Really makes him pop. Keep up the great videos!

Just got the other 3 I was missing (everyone but Dragstrip) and now Breakdowns hitting? Hell. Yes.
Hasbro kept Breakdown with the Legacy package art format, and not Legacy Evolution package art format, so that the people collecting the box art would have the same package art format for these Stunticons.

I can't wait to get the last two figures. After seeing other reviews, the only reason I am getting them is for Menasor. But I'm definitely getting the upgrade kit. That rifle is amazing!
All Stunticons are together now. And my boy Breakdown is here yes.
My Breakdown came last Week and now I have all the Boys together! Menasor looks fantastic. If they do another Combiner in that Scale I would love to see the Aerialbots and Superion.
Wotafa did cut the spoiler in half. Works well.
I have all 3 cars widely available, but that Damned Motormaster...
If anyone says they should redo Devastator next let me ask why. Why again? Superion Computron Abominus Bruticus Defensor maybe even Liokaiser should be remade before him

For the past year only Dragstrip has been on the shelves where I live. Recently Shadowstrip has appeared.
Same here, all year long, just a whole bunch of wave 1 figures and exclusives. Wave 2 and 3 never showed up!

Sad the budget fell apart on this guy, really should have had all 5 on a separate budget. Hopefully 3rd party will come to the rescue
I highly recommend getting the upgrade kit for this toy from DNA Design.
Come to think of it I wish we could've seen menasor in the bayverse movies, cause that would've been so cool

Been waiting since just before Christmas for this to finally appear. which is also when I got my one of the last stunticon boy
I was only ever able to find dragstrip retail, so gave up on the set. It was an impulse buy
Breakdown was probably one of my favorite g1 toys. Idk why but he was my favorite. I'm not happy with how they didn't give him a proper g1 Lamborghini look. But either way I will get him and be happy.

Megatron fell when Menasor moved!
Menasor decided swords weren't cool, so he opted for a knife.
I was really impressed by Menasor’s strong ratchet joints and overall stability, compared to previous flimsy combiners (looking at you, Volcanicus!)
As for that gun mount, I just open it up and plug it onto Menasor’s back for storage.
Mine has a weak left shoulder ratchet, can't hold his arm out forward when dead end is attached 😭 but regardless I'm quite impressed with the set thus far. Waiting for breakdown to arrive!

I know that they said the rest of the Legacy Stunticons in G2 colors are coming so I plan on getting Velocitron G2 Drag Strip and waiting for the rest

My biggest problem with it is the big blocky kneecaps.

I'm STILL trying to find this close to retail in 2024. This is the only one that is still hard to find and the only way to buy at retail is to wait for Entertainment Earth to stock it.
Just needing Wild Rider to finish off the set, cant wait to get mine. Hope they do another combiner would love Defensor or even Superion.
You should start highlighting the plastic-free mention when you look at the package it comes in. Eco-friendly should be applauded.

Not exactly. The legs should swivel at the knees so the wheels end up on the inside.
I know it's way late and i doubt if anyone will see this but I was messing around with Menasor today and noticed something. I never really like Menasor holding the cannon and I don't have the upgrade kit but you can spread the duel handles apart and attach it to the two peg holes on the back end of Dragstrip to create an arm cannon of sorts. Dunno if this was said before or not but I like this better than the stand or in Menasor's hands.
I thinks it’s weird that the stunticons basically become armour for menasor. Motor masters transformation alone makes a half decent menasor

Honestly just from reviews my only real issue with this figure is the accessories. Wish they were just the same as the other stunticons with a splitting spoiler

My biggest issue with the Wildrider/Breakdown mold is the windshield hinge design not going all the way to the back of the roof segment to allow for a greater range of movement. Had they done that, sure, the windshield would basically become a butt flap, but it would have helped the backpack a bit, and made the splitting components unnecessary.
As a fan of the Lamborghini-based Transformers, though, the fact that they opted to cut their costs here, on Breakdown's car mode, is a big disappointment to me. I wanted to be able to put him beside my Sideswipe-mold and Sunstreaker-mold Autobots in car mode, but the Wildrider car parts are too bulgy, too rounded in the wrong places, and it makes him look like a poor attempt at a kit car. I will give points for the windshield at least approximating the classic Countach windshield shape, though. Ultimately, though, when I get him, he'll be spending the majority of his time in robot mode, so I'm not going to let those flaws bother me too much.
I'm sure third-party 2-piece spoilers will show up eventually. Though, I wonder, would certain spoilers made for Sunstreaker work on Breakdown, or are the pegs on Breakdown just not in the same spot? Of course, they wouldn't be color-matched anyway.
Pre-ordered mine from Hasbro Pulse, but I won't be shipped until late February/early March.
My number one is still the transformission version, i just wish it was as big as the MP scale combiners on its combined mode. But great review emgo! Though i find this legacy menasor quite small for a combiner 😅
Am I the only one who wanted a prime version of the character? Don't get me wrong I scratched surface of g1 breakdown with episode,masquerade and his shake came back in wildbreak as a combination between wild rider and breakdown after prime since prime breakdown is dead but he is my definitive breakdown but I respect. I can also rival him and bulkhead too.
It's less of a combiner and, more of a dress up doll. It looks like the cartoon, tho. This dates back to G1, I have always hated Menasor's "backwards" legs.
I was originally thinking that the plastic add ons from kickback and blitzwing were going to combine into an upgrade set for menasor but nope.
Nice figure, but it baffles me why they couldn't give him a weaponized carmode. It seems like they just forgot about it during the retooling process of the mold.
I don’t know why, but this reminds me so much of GoBots Puzzler. Can’t wait for Breakdown to arrive this week.

Got motor master for Christmas and I’ve ordered dead end yesterday I think and I already have dragstrip so nearly got him all completed
Combined and standing tall he is definitely a thing of beauty and super intimidating stood with voyager class figures. Definitely will try to track down all the limbs despite them being on a whole kind of underwhelming While I feel Hasbro did what they could within the Commander Class budget still would have been amazing to see finger articulation, and a better blaster for the big guy to wield. The sword is debatable as anything bigger probably wouldn't have stored inside his trailer.
I'm still missing the last 3 stunticons, haven't seen them anywhere.

Hey emgo. Advice on the gun stand. I attached mine to Menasors back and spalyed it out like jetpack wings.
People have told me about that, but I don't want to do that. Good suggestion though.

You wont be able to use that upgrade blaster with the DNA kit because their hands dont have 5mm peg holes.

Like this guy but not getting the set motormaster has a issue with clips breaking even hear of it broke in box plus I hear of one snapping whole parts of his days after getting him so not worth it be careful all if you get one really does look good combined dot they
I can see this mold being made/customized into that thrilling 30 bumblebee if someone wanted to... Had that figure as a kid, and God dammit I loved it.

I think its pretty good (I have Motor Master, Dragstrip, and Wild Rider so far). My ONLY complaint is the legs. Gosh, they couldn't have made the vehicles face outwards? It would look better visually

My thoughts exactly, when 3 of the 5 OG Stunticons had near identical transformations and bot modes how are people surprised or upset that the two that become legs use the same mold?
It’ll be even worse if they do the Aerialbots since at least Drag Strip being unique means he and Dead End couldn’t be remolds of each other, imagine what will happen when all 4 limb bots look near identical 😅
I'd have like to see how he is next to the Combiner War Devastator to see how short he is next to him. Good review though, thanks as always. XD
