I got some Balcones cask strength rum yesterday and it's 62%ABV. No sugar added no coloring or chill filtering. $50.99. It's from Texas and available all over the U.S. I also bought the new Habitation Velier 2009 Worthy Park cask strength 11 year for $95.
I have not see the Balcones. But that sounds like a great deal. I how had the Worthy Park -2 year Cask Strength rum, I needed ice. I am not good with cask strength as yet.
This reviews are great and having the guests makes them even more interesting. I haven't try this rum, but I will definitely love to do it, when I got a chance. Cheers!
Been a Bacardi 8 drinker for a while and when I saw the Bacardi 10, it enticed me to try it. Definitely it has more body vs the "Ocho", a pretty nice rum and worthy to be "sipped" and enjoyed.
@@ReadySetRum Try the Bacardi 8 (Reserva Ocho), personally I like the balance better on the 8 and a little more "bite" than the Bacardi 10. Overall both are very good rums, worth to be tried and savored. Looking forward to your next video...

Bacardi 10 has under 3 grams of sugar added per liter, however the Bacardi 8 has 19 grams added.

This is what l think is wrong with Bacardi. It is to clean compared to Jamaican rum it lacks the funk that traditional rum has
