I have the platinum status. For me it is totally worth it. The ability to dash anytime around my schedule is critical for me. I very rarely get a bad offer in my market in Southern California.

What’s the total at the moment, and how much do you still need? I think 2k is impossible at this point, let’s see if we can hit 1.5k
1.5k is possible but dangerous, as being deprived of decent breaks and good sleep! to the point the states would push more legislation to hammer down on rules of the gig apps, theres millions of gig appers out there causing accidents, blowing stop signs etc... 1100-1200 is very doable as Ive done it many many times in the winter... Safely. But it doesnt last long as the corps experiement on how far they can test the desperation of drivers unfortunately!

I have the Platinum status and it is worth it for me here as my market is over saturated and being able to dash whenever is an AMAZING perk. DoorDash is also king here as well in the Philadelphia suburbs. I use a 2011 Acura TSX and I never do earn by time as it wouldn’t be worth it in my market and is many times not available here. Most common DoorDasher car here is a Toyota Prius of some sort. Usually one that is all beat up with scratches, dents and yellowing lights.
