I have the platinum status. For me it is totally worth it. The ability to dash anytime around my schedule is critical for me. I very rarely get a bad offer in my market in Southern California.

Where are you working at trying to make 2k in a week ??
My highest week ever was ~$1775 doing Uber, BUT a huge chunk of that was doing Uber rides during summer and bonuses for trips completed. Probably clocked 60 ish hours. Making $2,000 on just deliveries would be quite a feat. Best of luck to ya!
Funny 2yrs ago it would be 32an hr doing DD food delivery now days it seems 18-22 an hr is the new avg... I predict by next yr it will be 17 an hr doing food delivery!!!

How are you seeing the tips? Or is that an earn by time thing. So when you do earn by time you still get doordash pay plus tips plus the hourly active rate?

Trevors deliverys made videos on doing that, but he saved his best orders through the week and would make a video of all his best screen shots doing 700 dollar day challanges!!!! LMAO!!!!
@@danguts2844 You know some of those people were contacted by DD to be a paid content creator and there's a list of things you can and cannot do... Basically, you have to make it look great all of the time. It happens when a channel gets 11+k subs and posts at least 5 times a week. You can tell who they are by comparing their first few videos with the last few. They complain in the beginning about DD but not after getting paid. Some of my favorites have done it. I don't know why they can't be honest with viewers!

I have the Platinum status and it is worth it for me here as my market is over saturated and being able to dash whenever is an AMAZING perk. DoorDash is also king here as well in the Philadelphia suburbs. I use a 2011 Acura TSX and I never do earn by time as it wouldn’t be worth it in my market and is many times not available here. Most common DoorDasher car here is a Toyota Prius of some sort. Usually one that is all beat up with scratches, dents and yellowing lights.

2k a week is $400 a day… and that’s not counting expenses so more like 500-600. Still did good tho 200+ is good. A lot of hours tho.

1:55 Uber is a scam for all parties except the owners. Everyone else is either wage slaving for them, or paying ridiculous delivery fees hence no tips any more... This is #NotTheWay brother... Does that $50 cover gas and YOUR FOOD, and Car Depreciation?
I'm going to be 10000% honest with you. $2,000 is VERY market specific, also you multi-apping and doing earn by time on DD is doing you no favors. Believe me I've been watching the same RUclipsrs you watch, but honestly the rhetoric they spew is nonsense and most of them don't ACTUALLY drive seriously anymore. You realistically only need to use DoorDash, a decent sized metropolitan city, a good gas mileage car (I have a Prius), and Top Dasher (or the Platinum tier in their new program). Earn by time is good to boost stats, or make really bad zones more endurable, but realistically you're getting the bottom barrel orders because that's what the program says on DoorDash's own website. I know I said it's good for boosting stats but considering you are on a challenge, this was the wrong play. You'd been better off just taking every Earn Per Offer order, because they likely would've been higher quality. Just trying to help you hit your goals, because at this rate 2K is not obtainable unelss you drive ridiculous hours and even then it won't be repeatable and something you can consistently achieve. Definitely don't want to be negative and lower your morale - but I like to be realistic and that's the reality. Besides my city being decent (even though there are even better cities than mine), I don't multi-app, I don't use earn by time, I have a high AR, and I typically only work dinner because I mostly do DD for fun, and I made $1300 in 20 Dash Time hours of work, consistently, which is a hell of alot closer to your goal.

you’re video came up right when I was thinking about doing this on the side! The results to me show: - 62 hours (within 7 days) - 588.3 miles (car mileage) - $1,261.51 ( ~$22.35/ per hour) In conclusion, this is not worth it 😭 Thank you for your videos!

Man these offers seem insanely low! Seen many other delivery YTers who won't take less than $1-$1.75/mi. Are these offers normal for this area? It seems like it's not worth accepting some of these.
