- 6 hour shift to finish the week. Final numbers at the end of the video. Catering definitely boosts my numbers and keeps my hours low. Don't have to work as long for the money. Work smarter, not harder.

I don't think it's people not ordering for dinner I think it's just oversaturation. During the day full time gig folks like us are working but once dinner hits all the part time ppl come out as well. It happens up here in denver too. Sometimes dinner shift hits and it completely just dies and I give up for the day. I remember on Saturday and Sunday you used to be able to make more money in those 2 days than the whole rest of the week combined. Now weekends are hit and miss because of how many dashers there are. I noticed it especially when I was in Austin. Every Saturday when I dashed i would see tons of dashers that I never see during the week
@@nomaderic I think you're right. Definitely oversaturated. Never seen it this bad. It's mind boggling to me I could make more during a breakfast shift on a Tuesday than dinner on Friday night 🤯 lol! That's messed up
@AustinRides7264 yea its insane I can't even gage it no more. You don't even know what times will be busy and what times won't, just gotta go out and hope for the best. I also forgot to tell you about another app that might serve you. I signed up for it when I was in Austin but never used it until I got here to denver. It's called Skipcart. It's not gonna make you rich or anything. Usually I only get one or two orders on it a day but they are always decent like 9 or 10 dollars for a couple miles. Usually it's always a 711 pickup or something like that. I just leave it running all day and if an order pops up I do it. Might help you get an extra 10 to 20 dollars a day

Yeah I deliver a lot during the dinner rush and it use to be okay but now it’s bad made 43 in 3 hours, now planning to do lunch, i don’t like waking up early so breakfast is a no go. But damn use to make 100 dinner rushes 4.5 hours like clock work. I hate working in the dark so good trade.

Hey, question. Do you feel like platinum for DD is worth it? Did you see a difference with silver?
Oh sorry, didn't see your comment till now. Yes! It's worth it. But only for catering for lunch and breakfast runs. I don't fool with doordash during the middle of the day typically and no dinner shifts. Last month I did 220 deliveries to keep platinum. Usually average $20-25 an hour DASH time. With silver I only do $15 an hour

@AustinRides7264 I have like 3 lol. I am in the LOP but haven't gotten a catering order in a month. Thought I'd try to get to platinum and see if it makes a difference. I uses to get 2-3 LOPs every day so it hurts lol

I live in the RGV and do favor and uber eats don’t make nearly as much maybe I need to do more lol. Anyways love the content keep jt up.

I want to do the catering as well; do we have to order the catering bag from DoorDash or could you recommend where to buy one from in Austin metro area?
@@juliehernandez80 hi Julie I would order catering bags without any logos on them that way you can work as many different apps without conflict of interest. I got mine from Walmart on their website
