I mean that card is literally just phyrexian metamorph, but you can copy anything, not just artifacts or creatures. It doesn't really feel particularly "alchemy" or digital at all.

Always loved both of the Krenkos, Chandra tribal with dragons approach, Laelia cast from exile matters and, my absolute favorite, Magda. Big tool box commander with artifacts and dragons, easy to hit your 5 treasure early vs the greedy decks and beat down everyone else with portal to phyrexia. You get to run all the "fun" artifact stax too. Long time watcher just want to say thanks for the all the historic brawl content, hope you're doing well out there!
At 34:00 I did the math at your request. Or rather, I had chat gpt do the math. It’s a 1.05% chance of having five four mana cards in your hand with your deck’s curve, almost exactly a 1 in 100 chance lol
23:59 I think you got a bit carried away there. You didn't have to Bolt the creature since you were about to flip Urabrask. You could've bolted face and put your opponent at 3 instead of 6.
I haven't seen anyone drop a historical brawl deck for the new Omnath, I'd highly recommend it. I don't know how to submit a decklist if that's even something that's possible, but I have a really fun build with Omnath, Locus of All that plays around Realmbreaker and using the 2nd ability to drop the entirety of Phyrexia on your opponents
This is the commander I've been playing the most since MOM was released, I love this card. I've been looking for an optimized list, I'm excited to try out your version
I'm really super digging these historic brawl vids CGB! That mono - green Nissa deck was so awesome and inspired me to make a mono green commander deck with her! Urabrask is also one of my new favorite cards and am going to be using him in my Tor - Wauki deck because got-dayum that's a spicy past in flames on a body! Kay that's all...bye!!! 😊
Storming with urabrask is hella fun. I do play the storm payoffs like grapeshot and galvanic relay, repeated reverberation is fun to fork spells with, seize the storm nonbos a bit with urabrask's past in flames but having 3 9/9s on the board even for a while is quite great. Storm, especially when it's non deterministic is quite jank i'll admit, but it's fun to pull off a 7 storm galvanic relay, or a 12 storm grapeshot when my opponent was at 12 life.
Discarding the grapeshot because you can cast it from the yard sounds like a good idea. But you could of cast it from hand after storming a bit then grave for much more damage

G1 opponent is a huge jerk. It wasn't even a given that they lost, they just didn't want to let you have the fun of allowing the Urabrask saga to tick up.

Birgi isn't just better in arena, it's almost strictly better than urabrask in-slot in the entirety of magic. I believe pushing Urabrask to 2 dmg on trigger to make it compete better would've been too far as well, which is why I am generally disappointed with Urabrask as a card. It's a timmy version of Birgi.
Insane pop off and skipping The Little Mermaid but Haikyuu now that show is AWESOME I also enjoyed Kuroko Basketball but my all time favorite sport Anime hands down is Hajime No Ippo it just hit like Uchiha Madara as the 10 tail Jinchuriki on steroids but this time Kaguya got absorb along with Black Zetsu & I always stay to the end 😎🤟🏾❤️

Very informative! I've been tinkering with an Urabrask EDH and your gameplay helps me think if I want to actually make this deck or not.
Change of fortune feels pretty good for mono red as it's one of the bigger bursts of card draw you can get in red

Crazy how underpowered he was relative to how interesting he was in the lore. At least he got this card, but it's too late to wash away all the salt.
