I agree. For a pen that costs almost $100 they ship it in a single ply plastic bag (no padding, no case). Now I will be gifting it to someone and it will come off as a really cheap pen and gift. Smh.
I assumed minimalist pen equals minimalist packaging. It's on brand when you think about it... however, it is cheap for $80 I agree with you there. Perhaps a plain black box instead of a bag?
The thing that gets me though is that they used to offer better packaging without raising the price. But they cheaper out a little bit to save some money.
@@JosephMatthew ok that I did not know. No wonder you are unhappy with it. As pen lovers, and people willing to pay top dollar for quality, I'll admit that this is disappointing news for me to hear.
Ok, I’ll bite. You have an issue with the fact that they emailed you, you emailed back with no response, and the email you sent was more insinuating that you wanted a free pen to do a review on. Either way they should have at least sent some type of response back. 2. You dropped your pen, it was damaged. You say it “didn’t even drop that far” aluminum bends easy. 3. $80 is apparently a lot of money for you to spend on a pen. While I agree, I will say you have entered a whole different world. Start looking up high end pens and then talk to me about pricing. If this is an American made product which I am not sure of yet, then it’s going to be more. Tactileturn is another brand that is in the same realm of price range. I think you need to revisit and understand that machining, where it is made and materials alone effect everything.
Whats ironic is that these use to come packaged in a pretty neat cork packaging. But then they downgraded to just a plastic pouch

I can't unscrew mine and I'm nervous to take some pliers to it...
Did they ever reach out again after you made this video?
Nope!
@@JosephMatthew that definitely sucks. I’m close to ordering one, but I don’t like that.

They are very nice! I have the Mark One and the nitro coffee side-click Turn.
Bad customer support i wont buy
Why do you say that? Do they have bad reports by other people?
Can you illustrate your example? Eg. Slow response, a reasonable request was denied etc
Ok, I’ll bite.
