The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.

I think a name that often overlooked in the What if scenarios is “What if Bernard King did not injured his knee” … King was a league leading scorer when he got injured. Without his injury, the Knicks would have been much better and maybe wouldn’t land Patrick Ewing. That creates too many moving parts to make predictions… but probably Jordan doesn’t get 10 scoring titles straight and has more competition at the shooting guard position.

Kobe and Lebron fanatics both downplay the support that they got (with kobe, more the lack of help after trading shaq).
It's not that they didn't have help, it was more that the help was inconsistent and always changing. For lebron, it was by choice, for Kobe, it was the Lakers front office creating this.
MJ and Duncan had more consistent help. Duncan had Parker and Ginobili for 16 seasons and had Popovich his whole career. MJ had Pippen and Phil Jackson for both 3-peats. Making trades brings in more talent, but it also takes time to build team chemistry
Yeah, a lot of Kobe fans do it with Pau Gasol ALL THE TIME. Really tired of some people acting like Kobe beat a Boston super team by himself

What if Phil Jackson doesn't go to the Bulls, does Jordan get 6 rings?
Phil Jackson has 3x threepeets to his name. There have been a total of 5 in NBA history.
The greatest what if: MJ, Olajuwon and Clyde playing together on the Rockets. This trio would be the BEST team ever and would’ve won 10 rings. There would be no Lakers, Celtics, Pistons and of course no Bulls.
Think about the ripple effect tho people who watch Jordan growing getting into the league will start creating big 3s earlier

I think you should make a year by year what if from the beginning of the NBA, because Ike you say everything changes with any change. I’m sure that would take forever to make, but what if it’s unlimited content😁

If Lebron loses to the warriors KD doesn't join the warriors because Draymond never calls him crying, so Lebron might actually win more rings because the warriors don't hog everything for the following 3 years
My what if is what if LeBron won that game 1 in 2018 when he had 51 vs the Warriors! They also had a close game 3 vs them. Bron was on a different level individually that year. If they win game 1 the confidence & swag changes maybe they steal game 3 make it interesting. Ultimately gsw had the better team still but that one makes me wonder fr !

I think Warriors win 3 or 4 if Love is healthy because Cavs dont get Love . Cavs would have Irving James and maybe Wiggins or trade Wiggins for Klay . Somewhere in another universe maybe this happens 😂
