      out of all the things you could listen for from rascher, you picked the objectively worst part about his playing

      That’s like asking a modern trombonist to listen to Arthur Pryor for help with their vibrato. Modern classical playing has a VERY different approach to vibrato than the classical playing of Rascher’s time.
